Hopefully wrong, but got a feeling that we are in for a lousy performance this evening. We have this habit of producing very fitting tributes to those who we have recently lost, only for the ensuing football to be dire. Was it Ray Jones for whom we played a video, introduced family as guests, warmed up in tops with 31 on them, only to get shat upon by a pretty mediocre opponent? On the other hand, the night may just get better and better! Southampton 3-0. That was one of the worst performances I've seen at LR but nobody really cared given the circumstances |
