Really really enjoyed that. This team is now exactly that. A team. Something we can be proud of and get behind. So many good performances, hope people don’t get on freys back because apart from the pen I thought he was good. Dunne excellent again, Sam field take a bow. Haven’t enjoyed a game like that at home for ages. They will certainly know they’ve been in a game. Well done rangers buzzing for Saturday

And to think it all turned, when we had DK visit for the Millwall game. I am sure you must have noticed 🤣

Quick scan of WBA message boards and by and large they are wondering how they got away with a point and are baffled by our league position. Very complimentary of us. Fair play.

Something has to be done about the standard of officials in the EFL. So many are so poor. Linesmen are useless, they don’t assist the ref they wait for what the ref says.

Whilst we're at the poor refereeing: Blatant red card handball on the line like we saw today should be punished retrospectively imo. Disgusting cheat.

Raising their game like that again on Saturday is no given. Marti will probably shuffle a few and challenge them.

huh, i actually missed the handball lol. i didn't think the ref had a bad game until the final 15 or so minutes when refereeing completely went out the window.
still buzzing by the game though, 3pts would have been the icing on the cake but do you know what? i don't really mind, the atmosphere, the dominant display, the noise and the show the team put on for us is one of the best games i've seen at LR in years. i'll even give credit to brom's number 23 not only for a very good goal but also for riling all of us up and making us bleed blue and white passion.
thoroughly enjoyed the game. we deserve to stay up for sure.

Poor officials cost us a deserving 3 points. To a man we were superb and we can all be proud of this team. Field minus Dozzell is a totally different player and hope we can keep him next season. A performance fitting of the legend that was Stanley Bowles.

huh, i actually missed the handball lol. He palmed it over the bar on the goal line. Denied Field his hatrick. It's why we were booing him for the rest of the game.

To a man an absolutely fantastic performance.
Didn’t stop pressing from the first minute to the last.
Undone by an unfortunate penalty miss which can happen to anyone and a couple of fucking terrible officiating decisions.
Felt like a loss after the game for me, but in hindsight, so proud of that team. We absolutely battered them.
Got to say as well, I really feel for Frey tonight as he did not stop running. He isn’t fully fit. I think that’s obvious but fuck me he puts in a shift.
Really hope he gets another goal soon. He deserves it.

Jimmy Dunne was immense again and Cook needs to be leading that team out as he is proper player. Marti well can you say about him he is the real deal and all the players he has brought in have improved out team and in Andersen we have ourselves an absolute gem of a player. Field minus Dozzell looks like the player we originally signed on loan when MW was in charge.

Just home and haven’t read the thread but a particular shout to Andersen - a fitting player and performance to remember Stanley

I'd hate to play against him. He's up for a fight, he'll chase you down and he links the play really well. He wins headers and was holding the ball up nicely. Was shouting at players as well when they didn't press qell enough.

Any pictures of the stand before the game? Thought QPR would have posted it, which makes me think it didn't look great?

Any pictures of the stand before the game? Thought QPR would have posted it, which makes me think it didn't look great? I thought that was a shambles. So many people didn’t realise the sheet unfolded, typical that loads didn’t read it and showed the wrong side and sadly some just couldn’t be arsed. Add to that the latecomers because of the A40 and it was typical QPR. Thankfully the performance was not. Great game, deserved 3 but got the 1 most of us expected/wanted. Just another shit ref.

On tv was the goal we had ruled out for offside fairly ruled out?

Smyth has been superb second half. Respect opinions but i must have watched another game. He turned up second half unlike the first but didn’t get much joy. Don’t want to criticise anyone too much as we were great especially second half but my frustration was the Big Fat Swiss absolutely owned their centre half and won everything in the air (take note Lyndon on how to play centre forward) but Chair and Smyth especially were so deep that neither ran on to any of the knock downs. Personally think if he had brought Muscles on earlier he would have had a field day
