Be interesting to see if anyone comes in for either. Willock had a brief spurt of looking interested again but seems to have reverted to type. And Field hasn't had a great season and his limitations are being exposed now he is being asked to play actual football. Chair and possibly Paal are the only two I see who could attract much interest, Clarke-Salter probably needs a season of playing 40 games before anyone is going to pay money for him. |

When we go down i will go as i did my first game in third tier 1962.
In many ways it could be a blessing in disguise.
However that could be the beginning of the end depending on who owns the club and what they do or dont do.

For the remainder of the season if fit the following have to start week in week out no rotation unless the stats say they are literally about to fall apart.
Cook
Salter
Paal
Chair
Willock
field
Fox when fit
Unless better players are brought in you build the rest of the season around these seven.
Maybe three at back, Paal playing LWB and get as many attacking players in side ahead of them with field holding.

Agree. Field, our Player of the Season last year, is best suited to just protecting the defence. Poor season so far but he is still our best option for that role.
