Clear out needed, whichever division we are in. Of today's team I'd keep only the back four, Field and Hayden.

Have to agree about Chair and Willock. Cash in on both.

Chair in particular had been doing my head in for years. So overrated and so one footed. It’s the reason he will never make it to the top. Poor delivery’s, poor decision making and must drive anyone wanting balls into the box fucking insane

Because he can't mate. Despite being one of the most frustrating players we've had in years, his ability in this current team is undeniable. Who does he drop him for? Not Smyth, he's shite. Youngsters are unproven. He literally has no one better than Chair, he's hampered by only being able to work with what he has, and that isn't much at all.

I'd just try to get him to deliver crosses early. And accurately.

Marti can only do so much, it's up to Chair to do what's asked.

Clear out needed, whichever division we are in. Of today's team I'd keep only the back four, Field and Hayden. Every team losses games. Liverpool or Arsenal fans probably shout “clear out needed” when they are pissed off after a loss. Since the end of the transfer window we have lost far fewer than most. Respect your opinions but it’s only worth having a clear out if you can bring in better. We are told the purse strings can be loosened a little this summer but it’s still going to be mainly free transfers. Probably an unpopular view after such a poor performance but if we could keep Hayden and add two strikers who can actually score goals I think we have a highly competitive Championship squad.

We could never score a goal like their second yesterday. We need at least one midfielder who can pass the ball, especially through the middle (as well as proper strikers who offer that option) as well as those able to carry it down the flanks (but more often than not don't put a decent or early cross in). We offer zero threat in the box, and should we stay up that must change. It isn't only the shitty forwards. It's the entire attacking line. A clear out generates money to get in better team players.

There is zero goals in this team. Complete clear out and refit needed. Agreed. I would keep Willock, Dunne, Cook, JCS, Paal, Fox, Hayden, Field Get rid of Dykes, Chair, Hodge, Begovic, Kakay, Richards, Adomah, Smyth And send Armstrong on loan

I fully agree there's no room for sentiment. And I wouldn't start Smyth but there are times he can make an impact off the bench IMO. As Corbs said, for example he made the corner that led to the goal today. He's played his part in other goals scored this season too. Stats don't always tell the whole story, as we all know. Smythe wasnt on the pitch or i was watching a different game.

Unless Palace sell Eze, we're still going to be on a very tight budget next season, so I'm not sure we can afford to clear half the squad out, unless there are cheap replacements. In fact we may need to sell JCS and it would be a good time to cash in on him while his stock is high.
I think I said the same elsewhere, but I would definitely keep Smyth, think he's done well this season and he can change games when he comes on. I wouldn't send Armstrong out on loan (unless we have Eze cash), I'd rather Marti gets a whole pre-season with him. Willock will be out of contract, won't he? If decent money comes for Chair we probably should sell him too. Definitely keep Cook, Dunne, Field, Colback, Andersen, Fox. Hopefully Rayan Kolli will return to full fitness and get a run in the team. Hayden if we can afford him.
Anyway, this is about who goes: Dozzell (if he's not gone already), Kakay, Dykes if we can get a decent sum for him and we can afford a better replacement, Frey, Begovic, Kelman, Albert.....

I think we should definitely get shot of Chair.
As talented as he is, we’ve all seen how bad his set pieces are, his shooting can be, his tendency to hang on to the ball for too long etc.
And quite honestly, I don’t think we can afford for one of our most influential players suffering a regular drop in form through being sat on Morocco’s bench in some far flung place several times a year as well as from activities associated with religion. Nothing wrong with either of them per se if you have a strong enough squad, but not sure we can class ours at that.

In my humble opining:
GK Begovic
Defenders Kakay Drewe
Midfielders Chair Hodge Richards Adomah Dozzell Duke-McKenna
Forwards Dykes Smyth Armstrong (loan out)
