I’m just liking the fact we’re looking at players who haven’t played for us and were very active either getting rid of players who aren’t good enough or don’t want to sign a new contract and looking at replacements as early as we can.

On going days, Willock was pretty decent at both. Ilias only other one who can take men out, which of course is how you create space for your hypothetical 9. |

Remember a few pulling off Beale relentlessly before he deserved it and look how that ended. First impressions very positive but maintaining standards for extended period is harder trick to pull off. |

What business by the club - buy an international striker with 40 goals in his last 95 games who can happily play more than 40 games a season. And get a rival club to pay for most of it by off-loading a striker on them who has about as much chance of scoring as I would at a Miss World after party.
