I’m going to stop reading this thread or I’m going to explode. Looking at that article saying he was instrumental in getting Forest up,IRC he didn’t play much in that season they went up and the only game I saw with him playing he cost them 2 points by conceding a needless pen in the last min. Take a good look look at the size of his beer belly too. |

Feels like we’ve gone bit panic since Saturday. Got the list of free transfers out and ticking them off.
Cook however probably type of player we need so would not be too down on that one.

Heard that Cook is already done. he's a good player but it does concern me a bit for the future. time and time again we've been told that we're a selling club that needs to develop players to keep in line with FFP, but where are those players? we're also told that we have a talented group of young players but i just don't buy that. aside from armstrong and MAYBE walsh i don't really see many players who could be developed and sold on. |

We don't have a talented group of young players Corbs. I think the slow realisation of that is the reason Les departed.
We will have to deal with a few journeymen for a couple of seasons I suspect, unfortunately.

We will have to deal with a few journeymen for a couple of seasons I suspect, unfortunately. exactly. some of them like drewe, kelman and gubbins will find their level in the lower leagues and carve out respectable careers but none of them are good enough for the championship. |

Should think it will take cook all season to get fit,the blokes piled on the pounds. Disgraceful for a pro footballer to get in to that condition.

End of last season we decide to get rid of ‘gone past sell by date’ players then couple of weeks before season starts we bring different stock with same ‘sell by date’
He’s got three dedicated young CBs to choose from, if one of them can’t play against Watford when will they.
Last season he said we have “great youngsters, and we will have to use them- me and Dobbo have great knowledge of lower league players” - where are they amongst his signings?
If Cook is a good signing then I’m an Eskimo.
