Just checked in with a a Celtic mate and he gives Dembele a big thumbs up. Apparently he left there because he was impatient for regular football. The fans up there apparently rated him.

My point is that his career at Celtic wasn't quite as successful when he only made 8 appearances and all of them as a substitute in four seasons. Therefore I think all this reaction is a bit of an overreaction. Of course have never seen him play and would like to do as soon as possible. Delighted we are signing young and apparently promising players, though. Firstly he was literally a child. Secondly do you realise how big a club Celtic are? It's not like he's not getting a game for Walsall and thirdly you said you haven't seen him play. I have and he's got fantastic potential to improve and push on. Fair enough. |
