I'd actually say it's a good opportunity to play some players that are on the fringes. It's not a game we're expected to get anything out of so it's a good opportunity to give some of the squad some game time. I'd love to see Morrison play if he's fit. I think Walsh also deserves to play after the the last round in the cup. Lloyd is another one that should start, he'll be full of confidence after his goal at the weekend. Maybe in Celar too, if he doesn't get scoring soon the fans will be on his back. I'd rather see the cup used for that than a league game. |

I'd like to see us put out our best side because I'm going to the game! I'm sure Walsh will play because he has done so in the previous rounds, but he's an excellent keeper, so no problem there. I would also like to see Lloyd feature, but maybe not from the start. This is certainly an excellent opportunity for Cifuentes to correct some of the mistakes he made v SW before our home game v Wall, for example: Madsen and Andersen cancel each other out and Madsen is poor defensively, so I'd rather Varane started than him. Andersen shouldn't be our no. 10 and Dembele should. If JCS is fit, Dunne can revert to RB and Santos can play right wing. Despite his poor showing on Saturday, I'd still start Frey, but I think Marti might tweak things and start either Celar or Tarbie will get his wish.
Field may not be recovered, but like Madsen and Andersen, I think Field and Colback also cancel each other out, and only one of them should feature at a time.

I’d start strongest team normally but are Morrison and JCS out? If both are, I’m not sure I’d risk Cook too. We can’t go into league games with only Dunne at centre back. Better to try someone else there alongside Dunne.
