A fucking joke. it is a joke. every year the club say about how important the cups are, the tradition, the stage and the pride that a cup run brings. but every year they do the same stuff and field weak teams while acting like the players starting are the first names on the team sheet. i'm all for a bit of rotation but the squad out out tonight is like one you'd play in the second half of a friendly against sutton utd or something. we all know that we're an embarrassment when it comes to cups, our FA cup record is something to have a chuckle at but why don't we try to change that? okay, we're probably not going to win a cup anytime soon but what else do we as a club have to fight for and be proud of? look at coventry last season, a whisker away from making it to the final of the FA cup(?). that's a day that will live in the minds of coventry fans for many many years. |
