Just back from ground and they are in process of changing name on side of stadium. New one does look pretty good

Saw a tweet from Mark Prince earlier, mentioning his and Lee Hoos appearance on the Victoria Darbyshire programme this morning.
On iPlayer for those that want to watch it.
Really good to have both of them on and highlighting the occasion, but couldn’t help wishing it had been given an earlier spot. Either that or simply overrun by a minute in order to allow Mark to finish his point.

Just back from ground and they are in process of changing name on side of stadium. New one does look pretty good Surprising they've left it this late. Thought that would be done weeks back. Frugality I imagine. The contractors may be on 90 day invoicing from date of completion so QPR save money.  |

I am fully aware that almost everyone still thinks of our home ground as Loftus Road,me included TBH, but it would be a nice mark of respect from the fans if they were to adopt it just for this season. It's not a commercial venture gaining publicity here but a very worthy cause voted for by the fans themselves. It shouldn't be too difficult to call it the KPFS for a season should it?

I believe so at the moment but I have a feeling in my water that if this is received well and gets good publicity it may pave the way for a large ground sponsorship deal. IIRC Championship deals are worth between £500k to £1m for stadium naming rights. It's only the top six EPL teams that get the big money. |

Sorry , as much as i think its a good cause , Loftus Rd will allways be Loftus Rd to me. I don`t understand why we couldn`t have renamed a stand ,or raised money with a high profile freindly . Some things shouldn`t be touched ,whats next ,rename the club ?
