I would drive him there myself and collect the 5 million if true. If they are interested then look to trade him if it means keeping our creative players.

I think he has been pretty good for us so far.
Wins everything in the air, good tackler and a bit of a leader about him.
But,£5mil quid is alot of money and i would be happy for the club to take that and reinvest half of it on a replacement.

I agree Hits, he has been a good signing overall. £5M seems to have been plucked out of the air I think.

What are your thoughts when he gets the ball outside our box, takes a few steps forward, looks up and prepares to kick?

What are your thoughts when he gets the ball outside our box, takes a few steps forward, looks up and prepares to kick? Doesn´t bother me. Only problem with Leistner is his speed. I think he is quite good on the ball, and can pass it too. Take someone like Onuoha, who had speed in abundance, but whenever he took a few steps forward with the ball, I was scared shitless.

I agree, BFG is pretty good on the ball for a CB. What makes me squeak though is that he seems to leave it until the opposition player is right on top of him before clearing or passing it 😳

I think, I am glad that is not Lynch! Funny, I think Lynch is better as he at least doesn' t kick the ball into the stands.

I really like Leistner's composure, it gives me confidence (and probably the other defenders), but against pacy attackers he's often second to the ball. Pretty good at this level though.

Mark Warburton says there is no prospect of Toni Leistner leaving QPR ahead of Monday’s German transfer deadline. West London Sport revealed earlier this summer that Rangers were looking to sell Leistner after he had failed to impress new boss Warburton. Reports in his native Germany have since suggested that he could return there. But Rangers were unable to land Aberdeen centre-back Luke McKenna last month and their defensive frailties have led to Leistner being restored to the side. Leistner played in Saturday’s 2-1 win at Sheffield Wednesday and Warburton does not expect him to go. “No I don’t. He played 90 minutes for me and played well. I don’t expect any more players to leave,” Warburton said. “Every player in the world has got a price on them. If any player leaves QPR they leave on QPR’s terms. If someone comes in with a ridiculous bid for one of our players, the powers-that-be above my pay grade will consider it.
But right now we’ve got a strong squad of players and are building and improving. Tony was very good.”www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/warburton-says-it-would-take-ridiculous-bid-for-qpr-man-to-leave

I think BFG will be very important to us this season and is proving himself when he gets the chance.

The fact that Warburton has come out and said this suggests to me that there has been interest prior to the deadline on the continent.
We really need to be hanging onto him though. He's been integral to our last 2 victories and I don't think there is any adequate cover in the squad!
