Will the younger players buy into Warnock`s training methods? Maybe they will not have any choice.

He's a sporting legend at this level. Any youth player that doesn't take on what he gets across doesn't deserve to be at a professional football club.

If it is Warnock and he keeps us up, no reason why he shouldn't be given next season too, and a rolling contract like Warbs had.

Neil Warnock is the one manager that carries less risk for the here and now. The spanish guy can come in next season with a clear pre season and build a squad for next season. Only at QPR can we dilly dally on this especially as we have a must win on Saturday.

I do not give a fuck about white lies or any of that shit. Twice he has been in charge of our team and twice did well. And remember we end up with JFH last time and that went well. We need a bloke to get us safe and Warnock would give us that chance and the flip side is if we do not take him then another struggling team will which could send us down. No issue with out of the box thinking but right now is not the time do it.

I would have been ok if Warnock had landed the job until the end of season only, realistically if it was happening it would have been announced already. Nothing I can say other than suck it up like the rest of us.

Crowing wankers suggest an announcement is imminent. Better be Warnock.

But there are plenty of games left.

Will always love Colin for what he did for us, but we've made - IMHO - a brilliant choice of manager: young, progressive, intelligent, affable, ambitious. Ticks every box for me, even lack of Championship experience is not a negative. He's not scarred, dour or dull. Time to move on from wishing it was Colin.

Well said Hubs. And as others have said already, if Marti can’t keep us up stick with him next season.

You could see him aged 90 coming out of retirement in about February going in to rescue Darlington from relegation in some minor league, with poor Sharon being dragged up there on the back of Neil’s mobility scooter.
