Geoff would be very welcomed, but are we going to sign any strikers? Or is Oteh enough and we don't need any reinforcements? I was wondering how long it would be before someone mentioned that. 😂We’re certainly not going to be lacking in options in other areas though, are we? Decent cover in the event of injuries too.

Sounds promising. Come on Warbs, done well so far, let's crack on with some strikers. By the way, how many loans can we name in a matchday squad?

Did he not fly out to persuade our first signing join us

Do we need to spend our money on someone who only managed 19 games last season and has no resale value. Midfield needs to be energetic because our defence is still pretty slow.

When he got injured our form went. When he was fit, we were flirting with play offs. Exactly what we need in midfield.

It would be good to see Cameron back. I think we need a bit of experience in front of the back 4. And Scowen looked much better pushed a little further up the pitch at the tail end of last season.
Interesting that the article also says we are close to agreeing a deal with Rangel. We're certainly well stocked with defensive options if that is the case.

He also has one more year on a very lucrative contract.

He also has one more year on a very lucrative contract. Yeah, but nobody is going to take in 100% of what he's earning. Stoke will probably be happy to just get part of his wage paid by someone else.

Surprised stoke would rather have cousins over Cameron Nathan Jones said they envisioned him to play in a different position/system. More like the one he had at Charlton iirc. He didn't feel we played him to his strengths due to our system.

Surprised stoke would rather have cousins over Cameron It wouldn't surprise me if Cousins' form improves at Stoke. I think there is a half decent player in there. I just don't think we ever got the best out of him!

Would have him back. Though we already have two dms. Maybe he can be a cb. Either way, he is the right sort.

No for me. He's a good player of course but think we would be overloading the squad with similar positions.

He's a good player of course but think we would be overloading the squad with similar positions. sort of leaning this way too after all the players we've brought in. then again though we're also pinning our hopes on amos, smith, manning and ball to do a solid job in the center of the park for us

No for me. He's a good player of course but think we would be overloading the squad with similar positions. I think it's a good thing we appear to have a couple of more experienced players joining the squad. I'd worry about us going into the season with a starting line up with 8 or 9 youngsters. We came a cropper 2nd half of last season because of lack of experience in my opinion.

We all know how good Cameron can be. Matt Smith et cetera are still unknown quantity in this division.

I'm presuming Warbs is intending to play 2 CDMs (in a 4-2-3-1) as Masterson, Amos and Smith are all CDMs, not to mention Scowen and Cameron (if he signs). In which case it'll be 4 or 5 players competing for 2 positions...
