Dom Ball was brilliant today. MOTM if not for Bright and Wells for his goals. Broke up anything Cardiff tried to create. Was missed in the middle when he had to go RB because we'd wasted all our subs. Wallace solid as a rock allowing Eze free range in front of him. Solid at the back bar that facking awful late goal.

When he now hopefully signs, they have to give BOS a much better contract . He has improved so many aspects of his game. Today I think his play was close to Premiership class...

Also great to see how much the first goal meant to Wells. šš» Neither Wells nor Bright wanted to come off. And there was no need to take either of them off. The game was won, both players have played a lot of minutes in recent weeks and we've got another game on Sunday. Can't blame Warburton for wanting to rest/protect players that he thinks are important!

No problem with subs today. So many games in festive period so any chance to rest legs needs to be taken
BFG injured, Hall pulled hammy at end hence why itās good rest players
BOS And Wells must have felt 7ft tall walking off to standing ovation

We'll miss Leistner Westy. What's the deal with Barbet? Is he injured or just dropped? Hasn't even been on the bench recently.

Hasn't even been on the bench recently. he started training again a few weeks back but injured his calf again. he's due back asap though. i think ball was brilliant today and i don't get why he doesn't get more games as we seem so much more organized when he's in the team. he's a real solid player for us and breaks up play brilliantly, reminds me so much of shaun derry

Fantastic, everything went right today (until 90.5 minsš) more direct, better passing and taking chances. I love watching Amos, just class.

Farking poppadom hands again. We need a new keeper and fast. Brilliant from the rest of the boys though Lumley had a brilliant game today including the assist for BOS. Get off his fucking case and support him.

We were direct against Hull Yep, if you had brought a neutral to the game today and told them that the two teams were one that had just dropped down from the Premiership and the other was a team assembled at the start of the season for fuck all I guarantee they would have guessed which was which wrongly. That was some of the sweetest football I have seen in W12 since I started watching. We were just purring today.

Still donāt command his 6yard box and it was another error for their goal. Thatās just the facts not criticism His distribution, his willingness to be the option back, even after all the vitriol and abuse he has had to put up with, some very good saves and positioning to make a couple of saves look easy. I would imagine that because of the physicality of the Cardiff forwads, and CB's at set pieces, that he was told to leave them to the taller R's players and concentrate on picking up anything they missed. He's not the biggest physical presence and would definitely come off second best in any battles with Flint, Glatzl or Bamba.

Just had a read of one of the Cardiff forums. A fair few of their fans are blaming Warnock for their situation. Some are even saying they wanted Holloway instead of Harris. Itās a funny old game š

Always more direct with BOS in side. Depends what you mean by direct really. I think some people hear direct and think long ball. I think the point you are making is we had a couple of lads on the park that wanted to run at the Cardiff defence at every opportunity. It really was great to see. Wells was in the best form he's been in for months. BOS is playing with such swagger too. His best performance in a QPR shirt today. Chair and Eze were great too. 1 goal keeping mistake aside that was as close as you are ever likely to see to a perfect performance.

He done his job competently today, until last kick where he made another error resulting in a goal. Good performance no more no less What your bigging up is his character which he showed today in bucket loads

Itās a funny old game š Wouldn't read too much into that. They thought Warnock did a great job for them last season and were happy with Harris at first. They just met us playing our best game of the season.

Yes, I mean people like Ball and Amos doing the fetching and carrying, getting it to Eze, Chair and BOS with Wells on the front foot. I saw defenders defending today and we looked much more solid throughout. There is a caveat before we get too carried away - Cardiff were shite, but their confidence must be sky high for the trip to Brentford now.

Thatās just the facts not criticism strange aint it? last season he earned plaudits for being commanding, having good positioning and organization between the sticks but seems to have gone backwards a bit this season. really should have saved their goal but i still think he had a good game overall. i honestly can't see us bringing in another keeper anyway and what would be the point anyway at this stage? i reckon we'll stick with lumley and kelly for next season too. both have made mistakes yes but i don't think anyone can argue that they have potential to be solid keepers one day and developing players is what we do now

We still need a new goalkeeper imo. Preferably one who is able to save a penalty.

I don't remember any saves from Lumley? Good assist and picked a couple of crosses but one relatively easy shot on target and he failed in his most important job.

"Ok, but just for the record, here are my notes on Lumley today, which I kept out of interest:- Eight clean catches One good save with feet Positioning excellent Communication superb Body language excellent Distribution good One assist for the third goal Got hands to Cardiff goal. Should have been parried clear, though hard-hit."
