If he could put himself about a bit more he'd be our best CM by a country mile. Agree but is he playing to instruction. As said before, definitely got the ability.

As said before, definitely got the ability. this was why it was interesting see him making late runs into the box and runs behind second half. He can clearly see the picture ahead of him but perhaps is being told not to engage. With our defensive record perhaps understandably

would love him here on a perm and could see it happening in the summer with him involved in a deal for eze.
others have summed him up well in that he has all the ability to be a very good player at this level but hasn't kicked on. any championship side who gets him next season will be very lucky

If what we are led to believe that Spurs are interested in Eze we should do all we can not to have Amos as part of any potential deal. Does nothing that special and overall has been a disappointing loan signing considering he is quite highly rated. Spurs will rate him in the 3 to 5 million bracket which is not the sort of money we should be including in any deal involving Eze.

I've seen absolutely nothing from him to be honest. Think him really poor and would happily return him.

If we had that 3-5 million would we spend it on him?

If we had that 3-5 million would we spend it on him? Not for me. Ordinary in ability in my opinion. If we are selling Eze take every penny and choose who you want to buy and a price that you get a bit of value.

If we had that 3-5 million would we spend it on him? No, absolutely not. In my opinion, spending that sort of money in the championship, you need to be getting people that have the ability to heavily influence games, not just turn up.

I think Luke Amos would be worth a punt at £1.5m or so...looks light weight and needs bulking up...is able to pick a pass and is neat and tidy player. First season since recovering from cruciate injury could explain his reluctance to be committed in a tackle. Looks like he could be a goal scoring box to box player in future to me. If Spuds were prepared to let him go it would give him more focus.

I think the way the market is shaping up this summer we'd be daft to spend any money at all. So many clubs are in financial trouble which means they will be operating on a shoestring and running smaller squads than they might have done in recent years. There are going to be loads of decent Championship standard players available on a free.
I see potential in Amos (I know lot's of fans don't), but I really don't think he will be worth the outlay this summer. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if Spurs try to offer him and a couple of other youngsters in a straight swap for Eze.

Looks like he could be a goal scoring box to box player in future to me. Was doing that for fun in pre-season. Almost did it on Tuesday but unmarked he skied it over from 12 yards. It was a real box to box move too as he began the play from our own penalty box with a superb pass out to BOS before his lung-busting run forward. Game changing moment too as doubt we'd have lost had he tucked it away.

I agree Tarbie that there will be a lot of free transfer players available end of season but if we sell both BOS and EZE no better time to take a punt on the better young talent in Championship and below.
When you consider the wages and possible loan fees for both Wells and Hugill surely it’s better to buy and get an asset rather than keep playing the rent game.
I wonder if our scouting set-up is up to the job sometimes as we have purchased quite poorly in general since being relegated.
Not a coincidence that our two best signings for a transfer fee were during Ollie and Penrice tenure.

Better player in him then we have seen so far We have got a top player hopefully it was at right price i've seen that it was in or around a million+add ons, i wouldn't be surprised if spurs included a buy back clause too though. chuffed with this signing though as you just know that there is a very good player waiting to be developed in there and i don't think it'll be that hard for him to develop into a top player at this level. sort of signing we have to aim for, hungry players with lots of potential

Very good interview. Seems a nice and level headed kid. Hopefully he'll kick on now as West and others said.

Was not overly impressed by him last season but wish him luck. More importantly we are buying players which shows progress from the last 3 or 4 years

If this deal was £500k as suggested that’s a great bit of business done by Les, Hoos and Warburton. Low risk with high chance of return
