Low risk with high chance of returnMinus Levy's 40% pound of flesh of course.

Low risk with high chance of returnMinus Levy's 40% pound of flesh of course. But I suppose that’s why the fees is ‘only’ 500k. I honestly thought it would have been more. If it was I would have expected the sell on percentage to be less. So you could take a couple of good things from this, 1) we paid 500k upfront, and 2) spuds insisting on a 40% sell on clause shows they still think he has a chance of fulfilling his potential.

Not unusual for Levy to do this as he did the same with Taraabt so don't read too much in why he has inserted that sell on percentage. 500k in todays market is decent and we just need to hope he kicks on.

Watching the replay again of Boro game..encouraging signs to me Luke Amos will become a regular goalscoring M/F player for us this season.

thought he was very good playing in midfield rather than as a number 10. sure he closes down well but he doesn't see much of the ball or do anything with it when he plays further up the pitch.
pointless wasting him there, hopefully he plays more in midfield alongside ball

He could and maybe should have bagged a couple against Boro Hitman..but very encouragingly getting into those goalscoring positions. If he stays fit I would confidently expect 8/10 goals this season..more if he can get on the scoresheet in the next 10 games.

Not sure I could see him hitting double figures but I think it’s reasonable to expect 6 or 7

In the second half, I think he was very good when he got the chance to sit in front of the defence and spray passes around. The problem is that I`m not sure how long it will take before he does it on a regular basis.

Got in box for two chances, one first half one second. Seems more attack minded this season

Sean Gallagher saying his injury looks quite serious so he could be out for a while.
Gutted for the lad as although not a CAM I like him playing in in that CM/CDM role.
With him being out it might now force MW’s hand to have someone else on the 10 role so will it be Chair or Willock.
As much as I’m genuinely gutted of this news I think we might benefit from The fact MW can’t play Amos out of position.
I’m hoping Willock or Chair really step up and cement the 10 spot for themselves in his absence and he comes back ASAP ready to challenge Ball, Cameron and Carroll for the cdm role.

Ooops. In hindsight I probably shouldn't have made that joke. Very bad luck for the lad, but at least he's only 23, so I really hope he'll be able to get back to his best again.

Reporter says it's the other knee. Sadly that just means two dodgy knees now. He's young and they work wonders but he must be worried.
