Remember Leeds bringing thousands to our place for the League Cup tie in 90?
It was just 4 months after they redesigned Bournemouth and the OB had to get back up from all over West London. They were well behaved though which was partly due to them beating us 3-0.

I remember being impressed with how much they bounced!

Good memories. Blackpool was an early sunday k/o if i remember correctly. I know there was big trouble with a leeds lot on the friday night. We left LG at 5 am and drove up on the sunday-lively before game. Ob held a good lot for ages in town after. Southampton was always a great away day...hated those pens you were put in but you could give their fans loads of grief. They were far better days as a football fan and I'm lucky that my Old Man and his friends used to take me so often and all over the country. Saw and heard so many things that a kid shouldn't but we didn't end up as snowflakes. Blackpool was a Sunday morning kick off partly because of the trouble in 82. The Saturday night was said to be mental. It was a tad eventful, rows with mobs, stag doooos, by end of weekend I imagine even the WI

What's your memories of that Fulham away game late 90's? Was that the one where Robbie Steiner got sent off? I was there that day. A whole bunch of us met up in Hammersmith and were fairly well oiled by the time we got there. A frustrating game!

What's your memories of that Fulham away game late 90's? The one where a little mob of Rangers went into the stand to our right , stayed in there a while ,and fair play to fulham they had a go back .The match got held up for a bit because of the fighting spilt onto the pitch . After the match ,Rangers had a huge multiculteral mob out , far too much for fulham to cope with ,it was going off right into the evening . But also in fulhams defence loads of their boys had had there doors put through recently by OB after the tragic incident at gillingham where MF lost his life , so their heart was not in it ,to say the least .

being in the players bar away to yovil in the cup. was about 10 years old and my godfather took me down there as a birthday present.
got to meet all the players and had my program autographed.
also away at old trafford in the fa cup. we must have taken 10thousand up there as we had the whole section behind the goal.
we lost, but what a great atmosphere.

I was I'm their paddock that day only about 15 of us Fulham didn't know what to do as I knew most of them as I live with them and told them we would be down the bricklayers arms every nite that week . At the front of their mob was syrup the villiage idiot .... It was all handbags no real punches thrown . We were then put in the away end Fulhams mob was well depleted , but it ceratainly went off all night ,Fulham were massively put in their place , but everyone in the know, knew fulham a year earlier ,would have done better ( fulham hadnt been supported entirely by newbies at this point )

Fulham haven't got a mob since Lenny Mason and the Clem atlee estate boys moved out and hit there 50s , there firm if u can call it that use the putney bowls club behind the old putney hospital or the Durrell . They only turn up against us when Chelsea back them up You usually speak a bit of sense ,,,,,,,Come on 72 ,either you dont know , or your being very disrespectful to the lads that turned out for them .Fulham had about 20 on a bad day 60 on a good , that went everywhere in the mid .late 90s , as i say after MF died at Gillingham /that changed everything ,but you would know that , ( certainly not based around Clement atlee! that was decades earlier ) Fulham definately had a mob i !

F.A. Cup 3rd round at Carlisle in the mid 80's. It was freezing cold and and sleet driving towards the away fans throughout. I went with my brothers and we spent most of the game facing away from the pitch and only turning if the crowd noise indicated that something was actually happening. Really boring game and we lost 1-0.

Southend was funny as fuck, left the ground on double decker and thing was literally rocking to front. Absolutely took piss that day,Southend thrashed us night game different as they mobbed up with west ham yoot and was pretty naughty scraps going on all over. I went to this one. I was about 16 or so. I remember the journey back and there was a younger West Ham fan there and he was quite gobby but sounded like he was supporting QPR. Now you said the above, it makes more sense and he prob wasn't and was just checking out if me and my bro were looking for anything!

Thinking of strange away days, I went to see us play Vauxhall Motors at Chester's ground (and went to the replay at home, the less said about that the better). Watching us struggle to a draw with what seemed like a Sunday league team, when I had this strange idea we'd score a hatful, was dispiriting. And I think my memory must be playing tricks, because I'm sure we were standing next to the pitch. I remember Brighton away when they were at the Withdean was always a pain in the arse with the OB literally sticking video cameras in our faces as we entered and left the ground. The craic in Brighton after was good though

As you did we turned out back on the game as it was too cold to watch. We lost 2-1 with Macca scoring for us.

I couldn't feel my feet fit an hour afterward. We lost, and Gordon Hill, woeful in the hoops, told a fan to fuck off.

I did Wycombe with Chelmsford in fa cup twice,2nd time police would not allow any Chelmsford in town, and camera everyone. Probably to do with how they smashed the place up last visit😊 also did Enfield and Barnet with Chelmsford and they pretty much run amok there as well, inc cs gas Barnet end😊
