Two more extremely cold games I can recall are Nottm. Forest during the Miners strike when they left the snow on the pitch until around 30 mins before a pitch inspection and it was cleared off by miners that Cloughie had got in touch with in exchange for tickets and some hot food and drink. I recall the club car park being so icy there were many cars crashing into each other both before and after the game. The other, more recent one, was the 1-0 win at The Hawthorns in a cup replay where I just sat there freezing my nuts off and then ran around the stadium area twice afterwards trying to remember where I had parked my car.

What year was villa away night game with Jesus in among our fans? 🤣 The same Jesus everyone was begging to give us a miracle at the City Ground in our last match before leaving the inaugural Premier League? One of my favourite away days even though we lost 3-0.

Talking of cold, I have never been as cold as Oldham away, back in the 90's It was an open terrace then and the wind came right in off the moors. As you did we turned out back on the game as it was too cold to watch. We lost 2-1 with Macca scoring for us. Remember Birmingham away, New Years Day 1980, it was freezing. I couldn't feel my feet fit an hour afterward. We lost, and Gordon Hill, woeful in the hoops, told a fan to fuck off. I went to brum on that nyd on offy coach , they smashed windows why game was on had to wait in cold for a replacement

millwall away 2011 we lost 2-0 and played crap.
tried to leave early about 10 mins to go but gates locked,a lot of others had same idea.
final whistle went and I swear if the flimsy fence between us and them had gone down there would have been carnage.

Asenal away New years eve 94, when John Jenson scored and we smashed them 3-1 at highbury . They gave us a much smaller alercation than in previous seasons , might have been the first season the clock end was all seater ,i cant remember why , but that left probably a thousand odd Rangers fans not able to get in the away end , dont know whether Arsenal presumed we would all just go home ,but we didnt ! Loads of us in with their boys in the clock end ,all up and roaring Rangers on , even a few groups of Rs cheering us on in the North Bank ! Was a top day out and because JJ scored ,the gooners have never forget it either !

I seem to remember there was a T-Shirt printed after that game saying, 'I was there when Jensen scored, (and Gallen and Allen, and Impey). Also if you watch Jensen's goal, I think it takes a deflection of Macca, so technically an own goal, and Jensen never scored!!

I went to Renne with ffc pre season tour for a week , wba and Leicester on Pete southeys coachs from putney . Know a lot of these lads as grew up with them played football against them on a Sunday . Went to school with them . First time we played them in years was a nite game we had running battles back to Hammersmith they were led by Paul joynt a Chelsea fan , on the coaches I heard a lot of hot air that came to nothing Every one where I live is either Chelsea or Fulham and they would often join up . When RC and MMc got nicked at fulham at court a number of them claimed to be Chelsea supporters .. Night game back in 83 or so we played them at theirs...fews rows all the way back-kicked right off by the golden gloves. We were only 14/15 years old-grove and bush young lads

Late 80's fulham played bristol city and rangers took a good lot to hammersmith, eventful. Never rated fulham bar a few-always relied on chelsea.

Fulham had no one of note in the 80s , come mid to late 90s ,when their fortunes changed , they had a very decent young firm ,all early 20s ,so not youth

Disagree vesps Mason brothers and the Fulham skins were well respected and well known in bush , Hammersmith, Grove as well as putney ,roehampton and were active late 70s early 80s. late 70s /early 80s was before my time mate , i was thinking mid to late 80s , i should have been clearer . But every club has a few bods anyway ! As i said though , come mid 90s they certainly had a new crop coming through .

Wimbledon away at Selhusrt Park in 97 , 5th Round FA Cup . We lost 2.1 ,but the away support was incredible , we had the vast majority of the whole crowd , reckon we must have brought 13,000 odd , the whole Arthur Wait Stand down the side of the pitch was the official away end , and we outnumbered the Dons fans in the Sainsburys End and Main Stand too

Most of the usual abuse ensued from the R's fans and accompanied by one of the funniest racial insults I have ever heard. You could see that Fairweather wanted to get in the crowd because he knew exactly who had shouted it but he realised it would have been suicidal to do so.

Then at Southfields tried to attack a train of Chelsea, parsons green west ham tried to attack our train. Then we decides to go kings cross after Leeds and joined up with Arsenal whom had same idea. All in all quiet day out😊

The away end at Plough Lane got really over packed , remember thinking if the wall goes at the back , we are all going into the Wandle !

Charton away , night match at Selhurst Park 86 ish , league cup .We had about 1200 , in the Holmsedale , it was a night match and the floodlights went out !!! The amount of shit that got thrown between the two sets of fans ,that night was untrue ! I got hit in the face with a 50pence piece ,and back in those days a 50p was the size of a frisbee !No fear from Charlton for me though after the match , because Palace were drinking in the Selhurst Arms and the The Clifton !And while Rangers scurried off back to Norwood Junction ,the Charlton fans were getting picked off by Palace.
