Brentford

Well.... Uncle obviously agrees, otherwise he wouldn't have got involved. He never set out to own a club stuck in mid second tier. He had a stab at it and played it wrong, shit happens. Bit of a shame he repeated a few mistakes but I digress. When I started watching we were old third division and ended up a few years later that close to the big one - in other words we were lower down the league than we are now and made it, and did so with some style. In the modern era, look at what Leicester achieved.  They were never a big club. Unlike us back then though, they weren't playing the closest thing anyone had seen in the UK to total football. We were never sleeping giants (as both Leeds and Forest supporters would say of their clubs) and that's the point. It's about playing smart, on and off the park, Brentford have got that bit exactly right. 

Wests: who have they sold this window?  If they go up, we'll see exactly how those selling club principals stack up over the summer.
