It depends how you define 'wholesale changes' Les. Let's see how you replace them if they go. Withdrawing arguably the two most talented players and having to start again with schooling in the preferred pattern of play is pretty 'wholesale' for me.

Withdrawing arguably the two most talented players... Don't think there's anything arguable about that at all Alan.

Well I think he has worked miracles with what we had this season. It's been the most attractive football seen in W12 for many years. I am backing him to do at least as well next season. #lessavedqpr #wortheverypenny

To be fair Hits has made some very positive posts this season over our play, and he's a massive Hughill fan. He's just not happy with how we're currently being run. #WithoutWishingToSpeakForHimOfCourse 😉

Out of interest who are the 9 out of contract as article don’t mention that at all. Actually thinking having read it it’s pretty positive piece
I’m guessing most out of contract will be none playing U23 only not first teamers, I can think of Hall and Rangel (he will sign on I would guess) aside from them who else of note is out of contract
For me that’s not wholesale change so he’s spot on

Pugh? Maybe they including those we took up options on as well

I get where Hits is coming from in that when we have sold players in the past 2 years very little if any at all has been laid out on replacing them. If we assume that is the same in the summer ahead what chance have we got without Eze and BOS next season assuming they are the two that are sold.

The only player that wended to sell in the summer is Eze
Any more superstars to go is just greed
One star a year is all that is required we are not going bust anymore Les

The rest of the team should be maintained to get progress

It's a bit of fun to speculate but 57 years of Hoops has taught me one lesson - wait and see. My favourite all time bit of BS was Jim Gregory on the PA himself "assuring" the fans that Terry Venables was staying at Rangers. Two days later TV was giving it Viva Barca in the Camp Nou😁

I think that Hits sees some progress like myself and then watches it # Dismantled
It's frustrating we only really need to sell Eze of 15 million not fucking Bos as well its a joke

So if BOS won’t sign contract would people prefer to see him for one more season then let him go for nothing?

So if BOS won’t sign contract would people prefer to see him for one more season then let him go for nothing? Has he refused to sign a new deal? If he does sell him and keep Eze who has signed a new deal. Once you sell everything in the cupboard and it is bare what do we then do?

Agree 1973 we don't need to sell both
West do you really want both to leave would it not bother you at all
It pisses me right off

So if BOS won’t sign contract would people prefer to see him for one more season then let him go for nothing? A gamble. Worth it if he helped us get promoted and if he did he might then stay anyway.

Actually agree with west on this if he won't sign sell him for 10 million
However both Eze and Bos should not be able to leave in the same season
Les already sounds like that is exactly what he is planning I'm afraid
Sell Eze and Manning not Bos too it's too much
One superstar only per season

If we know now that we are selling two then we must have an idea of each players valuation? If that is the case then we should know how much we can invest next season or are we to assume that zilch will be made available to strengthen the team.

Eze and Bos going spuds,LF keeping in with his mate Mr Levy for obvious reasons.
Cash plus player deal probably Carter-Vickers.

We're a selling club because our billionaire owners are happy with us exactly where we are - ie surviving with the eventual hope that the real estate will come good.
If miraculously we found ourselves going up, the script would change (in the hope of retaining a slice of the media money for as long as possible).
Which is fair enough, it's their club, but it's risky - because it assumes that on a poundland budget we'll always be good enough to survive in this division.
Les can just about manage the mouthpiece role. That's his job. 600k a year to spin for the boys, Harry would be impressed.

The owners would spend more money on players Hal (and/or keep our best ones), but FFP/P&S rules now prevent that. Or are you saying that's just a smokescreen and if they really wanted to spend more then they'd find a way around the rules? If not then it seems the club have been transparent about the situation, so I don't get what we are being 'spun'?
