I think most fans rate their own players a bit higher than the genuine market rate for them. I mean when was the last time we sold a player and the fans weren't up in arms about the fee? I will be in a delirious frenzy if Manning goes for a transfer fee I think he'll go for a smaller fee than BOS.

Man of the match this weekend wasn't he? I’m not sure mate..Chair was Mom for me..maybe I’m being too harsh but for me he is not a F/B or W/B as he can’t defend.he’s too slow or can’t dribble past an opponent to play any forward position so I’m not really sure why anyone would be seriously interested in paying a fee.

He's a left sided midfielder for me. I think we might think a little more of him had he played there more often. His defensive frailties are there for all to see pretty frequently when he's played at left back. Going forward though, his delivery is probably better than anyone at the club.

I’m confused about transfer windows..can we agree a fee with any EFL Club, complete a medical and get a player to sign a contract to play for us next season before transfer window opens ?

I’m confused about transfer windows..can we agree a fee with any EFL Club, complete a medical and get a player to sign a contract to play for us next season before transfer window opens ? Strange transfer window this year. Under normal conditions, you typically wouldn't have a player conducting a medical with a new club before the end of the current season. I don't suppose there is anything in the regulations preventing it, but why give a player a medical when he's obligated to continue playing for another team for the remaining games of the season? This year we have a.) a short window due to next season starting most likely just a few weeks after this season ends, and b.) some players leaving their clubs at the end of their contract (i.e. 3 weeks ago) and becoming free agents. Clubs are trying to get a head start on what is most likely going to be a frantic 2-3 weeks, as well trying to snap up free transfers who are already without a club.

Tarbs I saw an article saying the transfer window opens end of July and closes beginning of October, so its an extended window.

Yes I agree I think maybe Tarbie has got it slightly wrong on window opening/closing time scales but think Gtleighrs has hit nail on head with Pre-Contract Agreement..

kiffer moore is actually a real good player although he's a bit like someone whos too good for league 1 but not good enough for the championship.
but to be fair he's not just another matt smith, his playstyle is more like ibrahimovic

Maybe being old fashioned here but i have always liked the idea of a little and large striker partnership..from the limited videos I seen of Ramkilde he looks more of a fox in the box goalscorer so could be a good foil with Moore.

I hope Moore is born in London or nearby....It would make QPR a tempting option for him.
