Hugill stats at Boro last year Apps 40 Goals 7 Hugill is an unrealistic target in that we can’t afford his transfer fee or wages.

Stats mean sod all no way is he anywhere near the top rated forward in the league. Don’t Brentford purchase players on stats and analysis figures ?

9 goals in 30 but Hugill's no good with 15 in 34? to be fair though prior to wigan's last 2 games they'd only scored 46 in the league as they play a different style to ours. would moore score more in our side? probably. i don't know whether he's better than hugill but his style of football would suit ours more than hugill's imo

Kieffer Moore is probably a similar player to Hugill as in he will miss plenty of chances imo. I would be confident that Moore would be more of an aerial threat though. His goals per game previously with other clubs. Barnsley apps 51 with 21 goal Rotherham apps 22 with 13 goals Wales apps 5 with 2 goals

To be honest never rated him anf more importantly why are we paying 2 million to a team in admin when they take what is classed a good offer due to circumstances. 2 million is his maximum value and represents no sell on value at 27. Be very happy to be proved wrong and once again shows how we are truly lackibg when it comes to sourcing players. Some teams search all over europe we settle for Wogan. This guy with his you tube video needs looking at as this is yet another trsnsfer where not much work has been put in.

Its a low risk transfer £2m is a cheap price for a Championship Striker Nahki Wells is 30 and could be seen to get sell on value and decent wages at Bristol City £2m outlay on a striker will quell criticism in some quarters as to why should season ticket be purchased. If transfer goes through and does as well as Hugill £4 next year is easily achievable imo

Cardiff had 4mil offer turned down six months ago and there fans think they are under selling so 2mil might not be that bad in that context

With two years left he sat on a £4m contract. Difficult to see him giving that up and same time nother team taking it on.

Not unless WHU wanted shot of him and agreed to pay part of new club wage..but think they will just hope somebody loans the player Maybe he goes back to WHU and is full of confidence and gets in their team...I saw couple of tweets from Jordan congratulating Declan Rice on his goal and was delighted about teams performance recently..he probably would love to give it another shot in prem.

Of course their fans think they are underselling as they have been dropped in knee high fid of shit by their owners. Anyone remember Jermaine Darlington for us and how little he left for due to being in administration.

Can be offered any amount these days do not mean to say they are any good Conor Washngton being a prime example. I watched him for Wales and thought he was a big lump and not much else and we gor rid of Smith for being like that.

i reckon hugill will be back at WHU next season as i can't see another team paying the 5m+ they'd want for him along with the big wages he'd expect. he'll be an option from the bench for WHU i reckon. he has had a solid not spectacular season with us for sure and has been an effective option up front

I have to be honest and agree about Kieffer Moore being a limited player but do think he has improved every time I see him. Smith could not run and could not play two games in a row due to fitness or injury issues..Moore is an upgrade on Smith. Think Smith was sold at right time for low money £500k but in this climate now what’s he worth now ?

Hugill scoring just under 1 in 2 for a struggling championship side won't have done his stock any harm. That doesn't necessarily mean he's premiership quality, just that he's found his level.

Looking at Wigan forum their fans say administrators need £6m in before end of month...either admin or agent will be playing same game that we are doing with BOS with conditional offer accepted ,we should find out end of month.

Can understand fans reaction to Kieffer Moore especially as it may result in Jordan Hugill going back to WHU...I’m not too fussed which one of these two we get as think they are quite similar in style and in missing chances.
Here is goals per game comparison
Hugill 30 in 114 for Preston 7 in 41for Boro 15 in 41 for us So 52 in 196 apps or one goal in every 3.7 games in Championship
Moore 13 in 25 for Rotherham 23 in 51 for Barnsley 9 in 35 for Wigan So 45 in 111 apps or one goal in every 2.46 games- mainly in league one

The point is neither have genuine pace and pace is what frightens defenders.
Imo another lazy signing and not really the player we need.It certainly wont entice me back to LR.

Anyone over 4 ft 2 tall it amazes me they want to squat in one of our stands Being 6 foot 2, I literally had to change my season ticket a few years back. I couldn't fit into the seats in the row I was allocated. It turns out some rows in C Block are narrower than others. they took a tape measure up to prove my point!
