The third goal showed how the defence has been poorly coached. Kakay was left with no hope. He went with his man - if he hadn’t his man would have been unmarked in front of goal, but it left another man unmarked where Kakay should have been. Kakay couldn’t win. Dickie could have picked up Kakay’s man and/or Field should have gone with runner at back post. Just a mess. Can't blame Kakay for that as you always take the most dangerous (first free) player. It was Iroegbunam's man according to all my football coaches.

I like Kakay but like every RB we've had for years, he just needs some decent coaching on the defensive positioning Yep. His ball skills are of a championship standard. Those are harder to obtain than positional knowledge. Why can't positioning be thought him? Failure of coaching and the absence of a top quality reserves side/ league, I imagine. In fairness to Kakay he got little cover from the lazy as fuck Lowe in front of him. I also can't blame Kakay for their second. That's totally down to Dickie's awfulness and Seny's incompetence.

Like a lot of our players Kakay seems incapable of maintaining concentration over the entire game, if It’s not fitness issue it’s a poor mindset.

i reckon kakay will excell under ainsworth imo. nobody can doubt his work rate and heart, but he's probably not a RB. he always looks so nervous whenever someone is running at him aside from the moments that he can get a slide tackle in. his positioning just isn't good enough, but the shouts for him as a winger could be a very good one.

He’s played nearly 100 games and he’s 25. I’d definitely play him because no questioning his effort and we have no other choice. However the “switching off” is to me a bit more difficult to sort than just coaching, especially after 100 games. I really don’t see where our next win is coming from. So I do think that he will be our right back next season. He’ll be a good full back for us in League 1. However, can see Niko back left back (1 year left)…..to be honest, just depresses me further.

To be fair, of late Kakay has made Laird look a real waste of a shirt

is it me or is kakay actually looking like one of our best players this season? (not a hard task, admittedly).
i always thought he was a hard working league 1 player with a good cross on him at best but he's honestly come on leaps and bounds. he's improved in every departmenyt except defensively, the guy really isn't a full back lol.

Would prefer him as a right winger as he can get a cross in. Obviously injuries are not helping but going forward a decent RB & Ozzy RW would work I think. Take that defensive responsibilty away from him some what.

move him to midfield/wing imo. This would be a complete masterstroke He is perfect for that role Feeds Strikers can go forward with Someone behind him Perfect Then get laird and timmy back if possible

A great shout this Kakay to right half Gens, several of us were saying this at the end of last season, following a couple of impressive displays higher up the pitch. His defending has actually been his weakness up to now.

Kakay seems to being played in a very unorthodox role as the right sided CB in a 3 but quite often finds himself in attacking areas in and around the penalty box, just a matter of time before he gets on the scoresheet at decent betting odds I think.

Feel sorry for him. Never as bad as some make out and I’m not particularly impressed with Cannon in comparison. Says it all for me that Marti decided to play Dunne when it started to get dodgy.

good luck to him. hopefully he's picked up by a half decent league 1 club and have a good career. nothing bad to say about him as he always tried his best and had a few good games for us over the years but he just wasn't really good enough at this level, useful for versatility but that's about it.
that being said i also don't think he's a right back either.

He just isn't Championship standard but I'll never criticise him for that as he always gave 100% for the club and cause.
Good luck Ozzy.
