i always keep an eye on our academy graduates and i'm surprised he's not picked up another club yet tbh. versatile player who'd do a very good job for a midtable league 1 side.

one of those players who struggled a bit because it seemed no one could commit to where to play him or identify what his role really was

Can't knock his physical attributes, workrate and effort. But sadly lacking in positional awareness and football intelligence for me. Wish him well though.

If he's on the free list someone could pick him up outside the window You would hope so but as finances bite in the lower leagues more and more players of his ability are being left jobless or going non league, and the rich get richer. The influx of cheaper foreign players does not help. We have joined that club but have no choice with English clubs demanding transfer fees way beyond a players worth while clubs can pick up overseas internationals at a fraction of the price. Countries like Belgium,Denmark and Norway and parts of France slowly becoming player feeder leagues for English football not to mention the improving African scene. |

Shame for him. That said he turned down a loan at the back end of his time with us. Players out of contract need to be realistic on wages etc. He would be a foolish boy if he is holding out for more than the market dictates he is worth. Still going to earn more as a lower level player than a shelf stacker. Anyway hope he finds something.
