Footballers shouldn't be on 'Antisocial Media' in the first place if they know what's good for them, especially younger players. Unless they have an extremely thick skin. Wholeheartedly agree with this. If so, be on there anonymously or under a moody name. What are they gaining from being so accessible to grief and abuse? I don't get it. |

Twitter seems to attract these wankers unfortunately. I think it is the fact there is a direct connection. Do away with the anonymity on there you soon see an end to that for most part. A person, whatever they profession, wanting to be on there is perfectly acceptable. Getting dogs abuse on there isn't. |

Simple dont go on these things. Its all a ego boost for all on it. Those that show what they got doing etc those that coat them off. They all guilty. Facebook same.i couldn't give a toss about dinas dog jumping bog rolls,or Dave's kids doing snow stars. Or people I went to school with.
Dont like it don't add to it by going on them. It not rocket science.

Disagree mate. Abuse shouldn't be seen as the norm just because twats are able hide behind anon accounts on there. Should be age requirement and ID known to be able to open social media accounts in this day n age with way they've gone.

I think MW is a bit niave ,to say about the expectations of our fanbase , it seems to me as usual it is the vocal minority who expect Premier League football , pretty much everyone i know who ( used to ) attend matches is happy with decent flowing football and players who give 100% effort for Rangers .
The divs who abuse young players don`t represent the vast majority of us , Warburton should know that and respect the Rangers fans who suffer following this club in very trying times .
Players should be told to lay off social media and , Lumley was being forced to play in a system that constantly put him under pressure , both are problems that fall at the managers door , so it shouldn`t be put , all on the fans
Its a shame whats happenned to Lumley ,but it certainly isn`t all our fault .
Saying all this i really don`t want MW to go because the way we play football under him is a joy to watch ,and for me that means more than grinding out results in a higher division .

It would make an interesting venn diagram (survey) with four circles:- One for those who attend games and post on the internet; one for those who attend but don't post; one for those who don't attend and don't post; and one for those who don't attend and post. Then see what degree of overlap there is between them. Once stadia are open again of course. |
