waste of money by the club. that being said he was never given a proper chance at the club from day one despite the fact that dykes is useless. can't blame bonne as it didn't work out for him but the club has really fucked up.

Who on earth checked this bloke before signing him as at no stage did it ever feel like he actually wanted to play for us. Another money signing with no return on him, For a club that models itself on buying players for small money and selling big this is yet another spectacular own goal. It’s a valid question to ask why he was never given a run in the side when Dykes is picked week after week after week. I'd think his attitude is off. Just reading between the lines. A couple of Managers gave him a chance. He was playing pre-season for Beale pretty regularly. He was dropped and out of the picture pretty quick though. It's a tough one when someone is bought as a first team player and doesn't cut it. Not condoning downing tools or whatever, but I do understand why Bonne may have struggled to motivate himself. |
