Bonne and Washington ended up there on free transfers after we spent the best part of 5 million on them. How Very shrewd operators we are in the transfer market.

We have been spectacularly shit at signing strikers, no question and no defence, but just for some balance we are not the first club in football history to pay over the odds for crap players who we have then had to pay off to get the fuck out of the builder (hugely frustrating tho that is) and in several other positions we have actually recruited quite well in recent times. Strikers who actually score goals just seem beyond us. Lets hope Lowe bucks the trend.

Heard some interesting stuff about Bonne last night. Sounds like he has some pretty bad stuff going on behind the scenes in his private life above and beyond what we know about his wife having miscarriages etc. Don't think his heads been on his day job in quite a long while.
