Saying that, it's good that he's on loan and smashing them in for Ipswich. Will certainly boost his confidence. Has age on his side too compared to Gray and Austin.

Banging them in at any level is good for the confidence, he might come back a better player than he left as Cannot see him coming back in myself. When Warburton has made his mind up on a player, he rarely seems to change it. And I don't agree with those saying he wasn't given a chance, he was. Couldn't hit a barn door, doesn't read the game well and frankly he doesn't seem to work that hard either. Not the player we thought we were getting. |

Can say same with Kelman - not a Warburton player. |

No offence to Chaz but he getting slower etc by the month, he not the player we had and IMO a short term solution. he's still a great poacher type but needs to either play alongside a striker which means dropping chair or willock or come on for the last 30 mins. still has goals in him thats for sure and probably one of the most natural goalscorers in the league |

Not writing him off, just saying he won’t get a game. I like watching young players come through but he doesn’t fit the way we play under Warburton.

Too early to say that in my opinion Al. Admittedly, Kelman has been totally ineffective when he's played for us so far, but that could simply be a confidence issue. Let's see how he gets on at Gillingham this season.

Let's see how he gets on at Gillingham this season. Just likening an ‘inside forward’ like Kelman to one like Bonne when, like General said, Bonne hardly got a look in even when Dykes was pony. Warburton doesn’t play that position. Not commenting on Kelman’s age, experience or potential. |

Not saying that you have, but I think some fans forget he has actually only started twice. Most appearances are for a few minutes at a time. |

Gray wasn`t excatly moaning, but at times he should have concentrated on the ball instead of arguing with the ref. That`s what I would have pointed out to him if I was his coach. Thing is; as the match went on, he ran the right channels, got his chances and played quite well, imo.

Gray looks up for it to me. He wants to win and he makes so many runs on the last man, it's refreshing to see. Touch is off at times but movement looks sharp to me.
