I know not many on here are a fan of Bonne but the fact is he's banged them in for Ipswich and 10 goals at any level at this stage is a good return and a massive confidence boost. Certainly can't do any worse than Gray or Austin. Might try a bit harder too. |

Given how well Bonne has been playing and how poor Austin has been, I'd call him back in January. Still have my doubts if he'll ever cut it at this level, but worth a punt all things considered.

I think AUstin is the type of player who needs a run of games. He'll then score for fun again as long as the service is right.
Disagree about Gray looking unfit/overweight though. Looks quick and up for it but we don't do enough through balls when he plays.

If going 2 up top, I think Gray and Dykes are the way forward. Not quite a little and large but Gray will run in behind and Dykes will chase everything, think they could have a great partnership.
Yet I think Austin will score the most goals so I can see why he is playing.

If we were told that in Jan that we would be signing a striker, who has just turned 26 and had scored 11 in 15 games in league 1 we would all be having wet dreams but because it’s Bonne most won’t.

Not recalling him isn't an option.
Everyone knew that the Chaz thing was a punt and it was pretty obvious he wasn't going to be doing 90m any time soon.
I'd be happy if he gave it all for 60m as required. I reckon that's what the club were thinking when they picked him up.

If you read their forums they absolutely tugging them selves silly over our player. They stopped thinking of love making with relatives it’s that bad. I hope cub are seriously looking at him there and not just let him go.
