The best we can hope for is that Critchley sticks him in as one of a two. The sight of the tattooed whore laughing and joking on the park after yet another abject team performance sickened me. I’m still not convinced this story is correct, Millwall played games with us over Mcnamara so I suspect we are doing the same over Dykes.
The rumours of him joining slippery Beale in a substandard league are more likely for me to eat my hat.

£3m is an improvement on the £2m that we paid but I said this previously; I think Dykes is one of those players who is worth more based on stats than what we see.
He's tall, works fairly hard and has played in the Championship. Scores for Scotland and can be a handful. I would imagine we are holding out for around £5m.
£3m is decent in my mind, but then who do we buy for that? We are assuming that 100% of what we receive will be re spent. Doesn't always work like that.

Millwall were trying to punt Mcnamara out for the highest fee possible, they also brought in a replacement for him on loan from dirty Leeds and ended up with both.🤣 For me WLS are just trying to drum up business with stories such as this.I mean when have you ever heard of summer transfer rumours for Dieng during the current winter window? |

The wording was "could potentially be worth up to £3m". This means it's probably staged payments based on appearances, goals scored (which probably won't be many), maybe even things like international appearances and Millwall's performance in coming seasons. The actual initial transfer fee won't be that.
If we aren't happy with the structure of the deal and the time it will take to get paid, we are right to turn it down.
I'm pretty certain if it was £3m paid up front he'd be on his way.
