Yeah, but what Corbs said, he wasn't around for nearly as long. And that's partly the issue: he's always been shite, except for when Charlie was feeding him the odd goal, and apart from those very rare moments when he actually scores.... But that's the point, he's been shite HERE, with us, for over three fucking years.... so the shiteness has accumulated to the point where I think most people are sick of the sight of him. I reckon if he just stood still somewhere outside the penalty box for the entire match, the odd ricochet off him might actually be more effective than his unbelievable ability to be in the wrong place and the right time. I dunno, Mike Sheron was pretty bad Mike Sheron as a £1m signing and Mark Hately as a £500k one have very different reputations in 2023. |

Unpopular call but I’d take him out of the squad completely. Like out out. I would make it clear I’m going with Kelman, muscles and Kolli until January. Having him not only offers us fuck all but it must demoralise the other forwards as they can see he’s fucking atrocious. I’d say Lyndon you’re just not my cup of tea and I’m going to concentrate on using the 3 lads up front and if I fuck up I’ll fall on my own sword. This 1000 times over. I’d go as far as saying if you played with 10 men you’d see absolutely no difference. Genuinely. I’ve rarely ever seen a player offer so little so often and still get picked every game. |

When he went down injured on Saturday, I hoped he'd be out for the season. Normally I would never wish injury on anyone, not even just for the next game. That's how bad he is.

Taken a lot of flack (and all deserved!), but I thought he was good tonight.
Missed a sitter tbf, but worked his nuts off, scored a great 2nd and done superbly for the 3rd.
He isn’t up to it as a main striker at this level to get you goals, but credit where it is due.

The generosity offered to this guy over the past three years is amazing. I would say unprecedented in the way fans react to players. Let’s be delighted if he scores a few goals but let’s not get carried away - he owes us big time. Fucking big time.
