If Twitter is to believed it’s a reasonable opening bid for a player determined to run his contract down.
I would hope there will be higher bids submitted by other interested clubs before the window closes as he undoubtedly would be a steal at 5 million euros.
Why would he need to rush such a big decision to move to Belgium when he could sit tight and see what other clubs show an interest..

He be playing champs league football with them. Good chance to showcase his ability with an eye on his next move.

good move for him, he's developed into a good player for us and will be harder to replace than eze imo. would have liked to have got more but he didn't wanna re-sign

Another example of the club being slow off the mark again. It was obvious he was a player from the off should have tied him down. Well played rangers, well played.

Before Birmingham away there were huge question marks about him and his end product, to some extent there still is. As said above been very good for a few months but been equally as bad since return
If true 5mil prob the least we would have expected, if times were normal I would have perhaps expected 7/8. Was never going to fetch double figures in my view
Fact he’s potentially going Belgium instead of Prem or top end champ club probably tells us everything we need to know.

We only started negotiating with him this season when he’d broken through. Why on earth are we always so slow on the uptake. We’ve got professional people being paid good money to do a job and we consistently fail every single time. Same thing will happen with ebs. Agent in the ear telling them what they can earn. We should already have them tied down. Club absolutely infuriates me

I've been really surprised how much he improved. Most people would have said Paul Smyth was the one with potential.

Smyth looked really good at times under Ollie. Hope he can get back to that as we gonna need him.

£4.7 mil does seem light imo but Twatter is hardly a viable source for transfers so will believe it when I see it.

To be fair BOS has had his best season to date and 5 million is a good deal considering he is a bit of a gamble for anyone.

If they can’t spot the potential then honestly I give up. What are we paying them for? This isn’t the first example of gross negligence and it won’t be the last but it’s tolerated time and time again. I’m sick and tired of paying serious money to watch a shower of shit with no vision and no ambition. BOS is just the latest in a long line of examples that have been offered improved terms too late. His head was already turned. Millwall Saturday who operate on a similar if not smaller budget than us . Can’t wait for this weeks excuses. Sorry mate but it’s my opinion and I’m really quite fucked off about this one

Poor management not to have tied BOS down earlier.

We could offered decent terms a good while ago. But his agent is not worth a toss if he hasn't been telling him for ages that he should leave this shower and he will get him a decent club.

To make the the same mistakes over and over agaim showns not only incompetence but also a lack of inteligence.

Now clubs know he is available around the 5mil mark others might say let’s take a pop so you never know might be able squeeze another mil out
At 5/6mil he defo worth a gamble from a lower half prem club if no one even tests the water it really does speak volumes about the regard we as QPR fans rate and regard our players and how they’re seen outside of QPR fanbase. That’s a thread on its own Fans expectations

BOS at 5 million is worth a punt and if you look at Hugill at 10 and Jack Clarke at 9 then you could argue we are actually underating him.

73 I agree 100% I think BOS worth more Especially when you compare other deals. But then you look at players we sold, how highly we regarded them as fans and how they have done Since leaving us
Examples Freeman and Smithies. Sold for what us fans think is on the cheap but when you look at it, other then the clubs they went to, no one else wanted Them (no demand for their services) and neither of them have really played since leaving us!!! can add Austin to that too
Just makes me think we perhaps overrate our players in comparison to how there seen outside of W12
Eze will be the telling factor of this. Some fans suggest he’s 20mil+ but I dont think we will get near that. Prob in my eyes worth 12-15mil if we get that then fair enough. Given how CVD has changed things what has that done to price is he now 10mil???

What players have Brentford sold that have gone on to be the real deals ?

What players have Brentford sold that have gone on to be the real deals They are not worried once they have got their money. Over 80 to 100 million in players sales profit for the last 5 years and that is without the current side losing players.
