I think Amit’s been on the phone to his mate Neil. Jobs your in the summer Neil....we’ll all say sorry, especially uncle Tony....give us 1 season, then move upstairs and train up our next manager.

Maybe the Lincoln manager or Jacket if he doesn't get Portsmouth up. I would normally say if the board are to sack Steve then now would be better than the end of the season as any new man would need to assess the squad in real games before seeing what he can do to improve the players and team and also to assess what happens in terms of recruitment for next season. But that all depends on who we would go for and if they are currently involved in another club/promotion battle as per my selections. I called for the 'Lincoln brothers' in another place before we got SMC and got slaughtered. Now even more appropriate if we are shopping in the basement, they will know the players as well as anyone, and if they are ambitious then we are a good rung on the ladder.

McClaren should be dishing out some of the Fergie 'Hair Dryer' treatment right now, but I'm not sure he has that in him. We've also given ourselves a huge problem by loaning out every player who could provide some competition for places in the team right now. As great as it is that Chair, Smyth, Oteh etc. are getting some games under their belts, how useful would it have been to have the option of bringing them on in the last couple of games? A few players have to step up now and help us find another couple of wins. Make no mistake, if this run continues we are bang in trouble! This. We are not Chelski able to loan out dozens of players all over the place. We have limited our own options. Chair certainly, Smyth probably, should have been kept to provide competition for places and to see if they take their chance.

One of the big problems with Steve is how fast the wheels tend to come off. I think that's already happened. I don't think they're properly breaking sweat and mentally we're loose all over the park.
So the question is, bearing in mind that we aren't mathematically safe, at what point do you call it? Do you trust him to sort out the shambles?
Given his record, I'd say that was a really hard call.

I’d give him 2 more games. If we lose both then we need to change just in the hope that a change works. If we lost next 2, that would be 1 win in 13, is that right? New chap would have 7 games to save season. Would at least give us a chance.

McClaren responds to 77
“You do it (make substitutions) every week – sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t,” McClaren said.
“When it doesn’t, a lot of fans say ‘Why did you bring him on and why did you bring him off?’.
“I always said that in this management game, with fans and the media you’re either a hero or a bum. But I always think you’re somewhere in between.
“The subs have worked this week. Let’s hope they keep working for the last eight games.”
😂

Sack him tonight. That was nothing short of outrageous. That attempt to sub Pawel wasn't a mistake. We forced him to change his mind by booing. Simply no good enough. Unacceptable. Fire him immediately.

Have a whip round. Let the crowd pick the team and make the subs in the meantime. Not him.

If that was the case, then he should really go. Can´t have that. He´s the boss and he needs to be confident in what he does. If the crowd can make him change his mind, then he doesn´t have a clue.

When a manager changes his mind on a sub because of the crowd booing then it is time to go. Sorry bur that rubble collectively have been a total disgrace since the new year.

When the crowd leads the manager then it is game over on all fronts. I agreed to take Pawel off as he was pish poor today as were others and the fact we took Rangel off allowed the 2nd goal to happen as our acting right never tracked the runner for the rebound.

One player should have come off for Smith and only one player. Hemed. That he didn't was a disgrace. He tried to cover up his attempt to sub Pawel by claiming he meant 22 not 23. That was not true.

totally gutted about today and this current year so far.
up until xmas, thought we were brilliant.
clean sheets galore, wins every other week, top 8.... then january came and it has all gone to shit.
i really wanted Mc to do well. thought top 14 would have been a good achievement at the start of the season.
we look nowhere near that now.
He has to go.

77. You could have taken off any number of them as they were awful and I agreed with taking Pawel off as he offered very little in the attacking part of the pitch upto that point. The fact we lost Rangel instead was a huge part of why we let the 2nd in. Overall the lack of creativity means no striker ever looks good in our team.

Best take it up with that toaster Steve. Only him and you wanted to take off Pav..... He picked the team, set it up. He shouldn't have subbed Rangel. Hemed was abysmal. How he got 70 mins is beyond me.

When the crowd booing changes a managers mind then you are fucked. Fan favourites can be subbed especially if they are under par
