The whole ffp is a disgraceful act that influences where clubs finish in the table. It's a form of fixing the lge so that the biggest teams finish at the top....it's wrong it'll never be right.

It doesn’t matter how much they lost in that season. They’d have been in big trouble if they hadn’t gone up though but they did. Any club in the division can spend whatever they want if they want to roll the dice but if you don’t get promoted your fucked. They are gonna get a fair amount of money for league position this year too. It’s not right to risk the future of a club on a punt but if it pays off out sorted. Hate the whole thing tbh

I can't get any pleasure seeing them in the dog poo, not with our present predicament I can, they were very quick to take the piss when we started hitting financial difficulties. Fuck them, and their tin pot club.

It just shows how hard it is to turn a profit in football when you are not in the top tier. Even a perceived well-run club like Brentford lose millions.
I think Hoos is right and there will be a massive reality check come the end of the season. Let us hope we are still in the Division at least.

With the way football clubs are run now, and the change in financial situations, I don't think theres anyone better qualified out there to steer us in the right direction as a business. We're lucky to have him.

Obviously they'll get a parachute but from a FFP standpoint isn't the key issue the outgoings when they were still under EFL jurisdiction? That's why Villa - to take one example - are going to have problems if they miss out this time round.

They have spent fortunes every year yet not a peep out of the fa.
Like I have said for a while, these phony rules only affect certain clubs but not derby.
Well done to Gibson. Take them cheating cants to the cleaners

There are strong rumours that if Derby fail to get promoted that The City Ground will be sold to Mel Morris before the start of next season to raise money.

Presumably being FL governed the FFP rules apply in L1 the same as Championship
Likewise the rolling 3 year thing ..... err rolls on
Are the figures for sustainable losses still the same at 39 mill for teams in L1/2 ?
