Puts little bit of a blocker in place for those suggesting our lot should be more creative to beat the rules or that rules are on verge of being scrapped. Possibly. I've actually followed the link and there is a massive lack of clarity on what these people are actually for. Or how they were appointed, or how much they are being paid. And who the fuck are the ICRFU? It's all very opaque. Good question for the next meeting, and how (& why) our club voted on this one. Stan? |

I'm not even sure I understand what FFP even means anymore. So many clubs seems to be bending the rules with minimal penalties being handed out. There really should be a case for our fine being reconsidered.

Just shows if they had a Mike from type fella to sort recruitment etc we could easily gamble and buy and sustain ourselves into the premier league like others did. Hence increasing value of club , revenue etc.

The owners' net worth comparison is mildly interesting but 100% irrelevant/meaningless because of FFP.
Even without FFP, the Mittal's have shown no inclination to spend on the club.

Parachutte payments probably needed because otherwise relegated clubs from the premier can't adjust in time, but it makes a mockery of the Championship as a competition. |

Don’t understand that as the two statements seem to contradict each other (or maybe I’m just being thick)? Our wage bill will be way more than 60 per cent of income - which will be reduced significantly on relegation anyway. Also wonder if paying up contracts will count as suspect there will be a lot or that… |
