And our leagues could no longer be called English but British instead. Good luck with all that 😅 😅 Mind you, we already have Swansea, Cardiff and Newport in the EFL, so already the British league...

wouldn't mind seeing celtic and rangers in the prem, albeit not reduced to 18 teams. think it would help improve british football in general. i don't think celtic or rangers would struggle either. maybe for the first 2-3 seasons whilst they get to grips with it but you'd make an argument that they're probably mid table standard teams right now anyway. Can’t see it working too well. What would happen if they got relegated? And who gets promoted to it. Livingstone?😂 Agree, and if we don’t keep separate leagues we’d have to have a GB team....no thanks.

[we’d have to have a GB team....no thanks. we already have a GB football team (olympics) ... just that understandably no one gives a toss works with Brit / Irish Lions every few years. Gotta love it when the Brits go to Ellis Park, like Rorke's Drift but with the Boers against us as well. Proper contact sport.

The knobs in football saying it be great bringing the sweaties in are fucking stupid. 1 they only coming for the dosh. So all these owners moaning in prem they need more money will see the pie shrink even more. 2 some big cant will buy these two up as be commercial gold and they will be competition for all within five years. 3 they wouldn't want to start at bottom and who would miss out to let them in. 4 they potentially start in lowest league and win it at expense of established teams. 5 make no mistake be warfare on streets.

Player has £150m price tag. London Blues, Manchester Reds and Blues want to buy him. We have a Super League already. And we seriously need fuck these clubs out of English football.

On the Times Young Rich List — restricted to those aged under 31 — nearly 40 per cent of the names are footballers. ...
Enough of this nonsense. Start seriously capping wages, and banning agents. A seventy five percent cut would be a good place to start.

You want the majority of it just going to the owners? Sounds like jealousy to me

If workplaces across the country operated by the the principles and business model we'd have utter carnage.

I really want a personal tattooist, a MacMansion where each room has a 160000 inch TV screen, a state of the art Xbox, and a gold plated pair of Beats. You've got me. All the players listed play for the Super League Reds, Whites and Blues. Workers of the World unite!

You not gonna see Dom Ball on some rich list 🤣 If these clubs are generating huge amounts, which they are, then why shouldn't their players get a fair chunk of the pie. I say good luck to them.

You think top level clubs are making big money then mate? Have a look at the state of Real Madrid and Barcelona's finances when you get time. Aside from a handful of sides in England, virtually every club in Britain is at best breaking even without investment from their owners. To suggest that football is some sort of example for other businesses to follow is frankly ludicrous in my opinion. Literally one of, if not the worst sector out there when it comes to making smart business and financial decisions.

Manchester Blues apparently want to buy both Kane and Grealish for £150m. The farce continues. Other clubs should refuse to play them, or let them win ten nil, play each other, and consider second placed champions.
