The league is all about consistency.
Tbh, i think we will just miss the playoff spots.
I'm going for 8th and will be happy with that.

Looking at the second half of last season, our incredible summer signings, Dykes seemingly on the up-and-up, our youngsters having another year's experience, strength and improvement, Eustace staying (for now at least), Odubajo surely set to sign - and the sheer 'togetherness' among the players - well, I'll have to be uncharacteristically optimistic and go for 4th.

If we sign a third striker of top quality and Amos will regain full fitness relatively early in the season, I feel a play-off position is within reach. My guess is that we will be number 4 this season.

i'm optimistic about this squad, even more so since saturday. there's something special about this team and a real togetherness. all of the players give off an air that they genuinely want to be here and look confident and proud to be part of our team.
there's some proper leadership here too and natural winners in the team.
dieng, dickie, chair and dykes have all committed to staying for the season according to warbs too so thats great news for us. plus willock looked like eze 2.0 on saturday so i expect him to be one of the best players in the league.
i'm going to call it and say we're gunna comfortably finish in the top 4 ...
BUT, i wouldn't be surprised if we won automatic promotion either.

I’ve got a gut feeling. This is a division with plenty of clubs treading water or in Derby’s case taking it on quicker than they can bail it out, I’ve just got a hunch something specials happening here. Whatever happens I’m going to really try and enjoy it. Going back to the football after too long staring at shitty streams listening to nick fucking London. I actually have a better feeling about this group than I did under warnock. That season was amazing but still felt a bit like the club was a rich mans play thing. I feel as connected to rangers now as I did in the early Holloway years. If you think of what could have been just taking clubs like Portsmouth, Sheffield Wednesday and Sunderland into account it really has been a remarkable job not only stemming the tide and retaining championship status but to now be on an upward curve playing attractive football and signing players that want to be here and give a shit all the time not breaking the bank….whisper it quietly but rangers are back. Don’t think anything could ruin this season for me. Not expecting anything despite what I think might happen. The best bit is we’re sustainable now so we don’t NEED to go up. It’s not like before where it felt that the clubs very existence hinged on it. I absolutely think it will happen over the coming years. Look what the eze money has allowed us to do. So will the chair money, or the willock money, or the dickie money. We are in a great position in comparison and there’s so much fun coming our way this season without the fear or going out of the division the wrong end. The last few years have by the by been like watching something really painful. Thing is without that pin we wouldn’t be where we are today. I bet secretly we are the envy of quite a few of the clubs in this division. Whatever happens enjoy it, sing your hearts out and be proud of our club again. It’s been too long

I think there is an awful lot of expectation going into this season but I just want the fans to temper that as I know what we’re like as a fan base if people genuinely think we should be going up and we lose a few it will be booing end of game and manager out.
I think we look in good shape. Last year I said mid table and we marginally overachieved on that but I do think this year we could be a top six side and dare I say it with a good start and consistency top 2 as when you look around and I include those coming down no one really stands out as outstanding.
Thinking will be a tight season throughout the league. I’m going stick my neck out and say we will go up 😳

I was fully expecting that to end with 14th or something haha. I think we'll finish around 8th, after flirting with the play offs. A good start is key though, as we have a lot of enthusiasm in the stands already, so if we can build on that then I think we can be quite formidable.

Strong squad with lots of competition but upfront is a bit of a gamble - Austin’s fitness over a season, Dykes’ form and Kelman making it.
