I can't make the Barnsley game as I'm working. Usually I would give my and my daughters season tickets to someone to use for that game, but of course they're on my phone now. Will the club let me get a physical ticket for that game to give to my brother and nephew? Will I have to pay for it or as its my season ticket is it already paid for?

Surely you can take a screenshot and send it him. That works with other tickets. Only person with the screenshot will be admitted.

Just a barcode isn’t it? That will be the same whether you screen shot it or not. Screen shot, WhatsApp, job done

Hearing horror stories about people not being able to get into the ground because of problems with the new ticketing technology. It taking an hour to get in and lots of people missing the first twenty minutes. How unacceptable is that? First, if people are stuck outside, through no fault of their own, why not delay the kick off? Second, if people have an e ticket, which hasn't been read because of problems, just let them in. No one would forge a ticket to see that game. Clownland. Again.

I’m not sure if it was the just the new system or not
I got ellersie rd about 215 (loftus End as other end was closed just for millwall) and there was a huge queue, being British I joined it, it was only after five mins I realised the queue was actually for the people giving out the free scarves right by the entrance so people thought it was entrance queue when it was collect a scarf and go in. After got scarf was in the ground as quick as normally would be if not quicker
If you never wanted scarf you could have gone straight turnstiles as normal
I’m sure there Could have been other issues aside from that so it never helped but suppose learning is if giving giveaways in future do it away from entrance as it causes confusion

I take Westy’s point about scarves but the queue I was in (earlier) was delayed by people being refused entry either by QR not reading or presenting it wrongly then they stay put, try 3 or 4 times which is pointless and are then reluctant to leave mates etc. - all of which causes massive delay.

Family stand had plenty of empty seats throughout the game. Bet there'd have been loads of take up for those if they weren't limited to families.

Did notice lots of empty seats at KO time. Bring back paper tickets 😁 If the faulty system fails to recognise an e- ticket, show it to a steward, trained and paid to know what they're doing, who lets you in though a side gate. Really simple. But club admin can't grasp that. They send you to the Box Office 😐

They send you to the Box Office 😐 Yeah, that would seem utterly absurd, especially if you're at Loftus or Ellerslie side - if that's indeed what happened. It would also cause huge queues at the box office.

That would drive you nuts. When you have documentation showing your seat allocation. And it's as plain as day you're a fan. And when there isn't a forgery anywhere to be found. It's the small organizational things that go badly. Heard of a ST holder who travelled down from Derby and missed the first twenty minutes. The £10 club vouchers won't cut it. Delay Kick Off. League don't like that? Fuck. Them.

No problem getting in the lower loft yesterday. Had problems against man red though
I spoke to a steward about it against Utd. He said when you scan the qr code, your supposed to wait for 2 seconds before you push the turnstiles. But, if someone behind you scans there’s before you push the turnstiles, both of your qr codes become void.
So in essence everyone needs to hang back and let everyone in the gate before the next person scans theirs.
Also, a steward can reset your qr code at the gate with some sort of gun device and you can attempt to go through again.
Why people were sent to box office I don’t know.
Remember, scan, wait 2 or 3 seconds, make sure person behind you doesn’t scan theirs until you start to push turnstile.then proceed through the turnstiles.
Hope these tips help.

It in a while Definitely. But still several empties by the Ellerslie side. Overall a fantastic attendance though.

The club needs to work out which caused the worst issues.
Was it the qr codes on apple wallet. On the QPR app or was it the cards?
On a side note why were names still on the seats that are no longer season ticket holders? Can the club not be arsed to remove them from the seats?

Having been taken into the lower loft by my dad in the 80s as a kid, my first choice is to now sit there with my kid. It was not a family stand back then and it shouldn’t be now. God knows we need some atmosphere there so hoos need to move it or get rid of it completely.

Much prefer Upper Loft or Ellesie Road.

Don't think we'd have heard too many complaints if it was the first half of last season.
