just breaking now, palace have agreed to a 20% sell on clause. must admit, i take my hat off to whomever done our negotiating. solid price and a very good sell on clause. cannot moan about that at all Agree, The 20% is more important than the add on's as he will be a 40 million player in 2 to 3 years if he keeps progressing. Hats off to the lad as went out on loan to Wycombe and came back to us to become the player he is today. Good luck to him and would now look to move BOS on asap as he is the polar opposite to Eze in how he handled his next level move.

Yes, and arguably would have earned us the add-ons so a fee of 19.5m plus 8m very nice. Against their 12.5m in that scenario

20% sell on is great business - could easily be sold in 3 years time at 25 to a top 6/10 club for 30/40 mill and we’d pocket another 6-10 mill!!
I think it’s a good deal for everyone tbh and I think the club are going to back Warburton in the transfer market and we are going to see 4/5/6 decent players come through the door and we need it as our team is so thin right now.
We have lost all of our goals as things stand fromEze, Wells and Hugil and our defence was full of holes last season which need plugging.
Excited to see who Warbs brings in and I also expect them to look for some sort of Eze replacement or competition for Chair as if he gets injured we have no back up or creative flair!!

We have done ok out of it and I hope he does to. WBA have apparently offered us 17 mill and 5 mill in instalments today but Eze wants to stay in London. He is form South London and Palace have been a sustained team in the Prem for numerous years now. It’s a good move and he could easily use them as another springboard to a top 6 team in the next 2/3 years of which we could really benefit from with the 20% sell on fee!

From on loan at Wycombe to 50 bags a week
Boo wacker
Well done that boy
At least he will play there
Arsenal and Spurs and Newcastle a missed opportunity could be worth 50 mill in 2 years

Good luck to the fella. Can't help but note, mind, that we were a bigger, better club than Palace until 2015. Stole their manager midseason. Twice. Nice one, Tony. You really fucked our club up. 👍🏻

I'm surprised that no foreign side came in for him. Germans love our youngsters, not saying a top club but a decent side.

If we've accepted Palace's offer and the player wants to go to Palace, it really doesn't matter what any other club come up with now. Unless what's being suggested is that we renege on a firm agreement and up our price in light of West Brom's new offer (and I personally hope we'd have more integrity than that).

I really don't think that's how these things work Leighsy. If the club has indicated that the offer is good enough and given the player permission to discuss terms then the deal goes through if the player wants it. You could argue that we should have waited to see what West Brom (or anyone else for that matter) would be prepared to go to before accepting Palace's offer, but really you'd need to know all of the ins and outs of what discussions were going on behind the scenes to make a judgement on that.

He'd all but signed and had even recorded a press unveiling for us before it got pulled at the last minute. So we have been on the other end of it, and by Palace no less!
