Off out on loan until end of season - rumour is Leyton Orient - and told no longer wanted from what I've just been told.

As known not as blown away with his long term Potential as others but as I’ve said many times his development has been mismanaged by the club to the point it’s negligence.
Clearly not ready for championship football upfront although powers at the club thought he was (they should be held to account) they should have drawn up a long term plan to develop him starting with a season loan instead of taking a chance on someone’s career to penny pinch getting a proper striker in.
Not too late to try and salvage something by sending him out on loan hoping he finds his goal scoring shoes but I have no faith those in charge will make correct decision on him or for him.
I know there seems be bit of meltdown over social media and what removal of pics could mean but think few are overreacting thinking that’s end of him at QPR although it is odd behaviour from him and Dunne so time will tell.

Just about every thread I can see on this forum recently has a negative vibe.
If any Premiership club were looking at sending a young striker on loan the tone of this and other QPR forum would discourage them.
Given the right coaching and placement I’m still confident that Armstrong is a Championship striker.
I hope the fans on here get the thirty something past it player that they seemingly crave for every window.

Most games lost in the FL in the past ten years: 1st Most games lost in the FL in the past five years: 1st Most goals conceded in the FL in the past five years: 4th Haven't scored a goal in five games. Own goals don't count. There's a tipping point.....

I know people who work at the club and in the media but don't claim to be ITK so there is still every chance this is bollocks especially as the latter was the source. However, as per similar discussions, all the faith in the long term success of Armstrong at QPR is just a hunch that he may have it as you have expressed here. The reason why there is clamour for a thirty-something striker coming in is because they would have shown that they do have it and, at the moment, that's what we need to give ourselves a chance to stay up. If Armstrong is leaving I, personally, believe it gives him a better chance of making something of his career than staying here will. He's far from ready for this level and each week that doesn't just become more obvious but there is also a notable decline. If he is leaving that it's an opportunity to reset and learn the basics again.

He’s 20, should be showing us something more by now.

Could not give a toss if they are 18 or 40 as long as they score the goals to keep us up.

You and others can call it a hunch but I prefer to say it’s a fans opinion on a player, Armstrong has not shown to be the saviour this season but I’m more disappointed in the likes of Donkey,Colback,Dozzell,Field,Fox and Cook being even more culpable of shit performances or being AWOL than a 20yr old kid in his first full season in football.

You’re entitled to an opinion/ hunch ,I thought he was just another past it immobile and very limited pro that some fans crave for because of previous rep. Delighted we didn’t meet his terms and he dropped down a league and is currently missing sitters for Bristol Rovers.

Yes, He scored 4 goals but he was just fucking shit in nearly every game and that’s why he’s now in league one.

Apart from Eze, Barton at Burnley and Clint a year at Rangers, no player we’ve had in the last twelve years has done well when they leave. Maybe Mass at Ipswich? Freeman didn’t.

Not bigging him up Sparks, it’s a travesty that we needed/need to entertain the likes of a has-been to get us a goal or two. I’m really disappointed that Armstrong isn’t looking like the real deal but he and Dykes are never going to score the goals we need and relegation will be a disaster.

Honest enquiry, when spotted in Ireland what position was he playing does anyone know?
Who ever was watching why did they think a fella who had not scored a goal was going come over to England with no scoring form/record and be a forward. I’m assuming he was not a forward in Ireland and we’ve brought him here and tried change his position based on his physique.

When pace and strength is harnessed correctly he will succeed how much i dont know ask Shania.

NO Dykes an international but shit for us. Sinclair a rookie overlooked in Dykes favour. How would that make YOu feel? The club as it stands is shit run by shit and as i said another thread this been coming down the road for years. Its not rocket science. You reap what you sow.
