Be sorry to see him go. He's worth at least 4 million, but will take 2.5 if it's all paid up front. Same goes for Dykes and the club's most natural finisher, Kelman. 3 goals in over 60 games - assume this humorous??? 🤫 Don't you know who's reading this?

Romano's post doesn't mention a fee Ginge. Mad how many posts there are about what a great signing he is for Bristol.

Anything we make from this deal is a bonus. Good decision by the club. Can't have that billy big bollocks bullshit at the club. Sign new deal or fuck off.

Don't wanna sound bitter, but glad he's going. Get a proper forward in.
Made it clear 1000 times on here, he just hasn't improved.
Anyone who thinks he's gonna go to Bristol City and rip it up is delusional. Bookmark this post.

As you’re all well aware I’ve not rated Armstrong for a long time and kind of worked him out as a poor player who was not going to improve early on.
Whilst not a fan of him as a player I don’t and would not characterise him as bad apple. I think he’s petulant on the pitch but that comes from frustration because he probably knows when he messes up that he should have done better. Like Willock he’s not a QPR fan so if he wants more money etc then so be it at least as a club we’re getting something back.
He probably going to make a decent living out of being a below average footballer/centre forward but plenty others before him who are worse have done it so fair play to him.
If he scores more than 8 goals next season I will be shocked, in fact if he tops that amount in any season across his career in the championship or higher I will be shocked as he’s simply not a striker in any way shape or form.

He might have a chance to make it, but needs to work on at least three things. His stamina so he can play more than 20 minutes. His finishing is not good enough, whether it's his composure or technical ability, but somethings not right. His attitude on the pitch: Stopping playing, waving your arms and looking angry, when you don't get a decision, doesn’t help the team.

I think there are clues that his attitude and professionalism may not be quite right across the board. The fact that despite being around the first team for a couple of seasons he's still blowing out his arse 20 minutes after he comes on is one of them. There is no way a young kid in as good nick as he appears to be should have such bad cardio. Makes me wonder what he's doing the minute he's away from the training ground. Probably vapes and burgers.

Amazing to read some of those comments! It seems like BC fans think they've got themselves a red hot striker. I guess poor ole QPR just couldn't get the best out of him. Jeeez, we've all seen him play, multiple times. Good luck Sincs. Great move by the club. Just Dykes to go then...

If he’s to become a decent goal scorer he’ll have to change so much about himself he’d give Triggers broom a run for it’s money.

Surprised he didn't sign another deal with us as always thought he was a QPR fan based on those emotional celebrations when we won.

He'll suddenly find his scoring boots next season and bang in 20 goals for Bristol City, at least 2 of them against us!

For someone who is in their last year and has no intention of signing a new deal, it’s a cracking offer TBf. Never thought I would say this but welldone to the board

Not sad to see him go.
Some of the comments are quite funny. All he needs to do is work on his ability, is strikers instinct and his fitness. So basically, needs to learn everything to become a decent player.
A sell on clause would be good. To get over £1.5m for him when he is in the last 12 months is very good; id say to get that much when he has 3 years would be good.

Sent this to a Bristol City mate
He's like a harder working Jet, but without any of the talent.

In fairness you can understand in a highlights reel why he might look good - for example, coming in and hitting that screamer at Leicester. Think it just underlines how hard it is to find a good striker at this level.

But u paying a couple of million for what? He supposed to be a striker, but no return on that front. Potential! Well he what 21-22 he should be a bit further along than potential. So why are u buying him? He really isn’t a decent buy

No one here worried about the medical? I’d be very surprised if he passes that cardio treadmill thing given how he’s fucked after 20 minutes running about. Or is that the drama queen coming out?

Don't forget he's been away with the squad for intensive pre-season training in sweltering conditions in Spain, so no chance there of nipping off to McDonalds etc. Meals all tightly controlled. So he should pass the medical at least.

To be honest I’m a bit gutted he’s going as I thought he could have matured into a good championship forward but his goals to games ratio is terrible and the amount of times he’s obviously offside and doesn’t realise is shocking. So let’s take the money and invest it wisely

Can't play 90 mins Impact as a sub minimal Great deal for QPR.
