It's time this kid got some bench time. I agree fully about nothing too soon but we had no striker on the bench Saturday. Perfect opportunity to give this hungry big lump 15 mins considering our front two were so poor. |

What's the difference between Sinclair Armstrong and Lyndon Dykes? one is tall, athletic, hails from a distant land and has scored a few goals this season and the other is lyndon dykes. |

I get the arguments about being careful with young players but there should be room for ‘good enough, old enough’ too. No room for talent to blossom early in a rigid process. |

I think we can forget the argument that it might all be a bit to soon for him mentally. The way he charges at people and is clearly fully committed tells me he’s not worried who he’s playing with or against. Can’t see him in awe of anyone😁

Massively against the majority I know, but I still don’t think he’s a starter. The lad clearly has talent and potential in absolute abundance (he’s a bl00dy unit), BUT he is very very raw and technically needs some serious polishing. Couple of real snatch shots that were poor and definitely needs some guidance with positioning. Beale seems to echo this in his post match also.
Don’t get me wrong not knocking the lad 1 bit he’s a seriously exciting talent, but just trying to temper expectations - we seem to expect him to be our saviour but I think we need to accept he’s an impact sub for the foreseeable whilst he polishes up on some of the technical side of his game and then we’ll have a real gem on our hands.

Play him from the start of every game. Totally agree but the question needs to be put to Ferdinand how as DOF and England international centre forward can you not see the same and then address it. Nothing new as was the same last season. |
