Will probably weaken but right now am thinking I might take a season off from football. I can take losing, I could even have taken relegation if the board laid out a vision and unveiled a really smart DoF and a bright young coach with a plan to rebuild. Instead we are being run by a Ian Holloway tribute band 10 years too late ...but a bit harsh. Gaz deserves at least a transfer window and a decent run. And now Les has gone, maybe we can afford a full team of Kiwis for the Haka...

Yes and hopefully we can appoint a proper championship manager with a record of success
Amit is to blame for this appointment I’m afraid apparently
Honestly think he will be dust inside 15 matches he has already lost the crowd
They have no faith in the way that he plays or his ability to manage our club to a successful level
If he starts badly he is going to be fucked typical qpr board crap appointment again

Will be interesting to see if they do attempt any ground improvements - I don’t expect them to. Hoos has said more than once there is no return on investment. Also, we don’t fill the place often enough and once we do, if we ever do again, ticket prices will rise before they start looking at improvements never mind a new ground. It won’t happen but I still feel sure that if they had the will a decent set of architects and structural engineers could deconstruct LR and modify and extend the main framework to increase capacity to maybe 25k with better seating and a new roof. Too expensive unless we’re sorted in the Prem. Then we’d need a new place anyway!

Hoos was open to it in the last Ask Hoos thingy that he did; normally just says no. Now Ruben has said this so maybe they are looking at what we can do.
Problem is, we can't extend our ground footprint so I can't see more hospitality or seating.

No, but you could extend outwards at the top of the stands - especially SA Rd. As long as the original groundworks are suitable.

I think there are few quick wins to add seats and hospitality in short term.
For hospitality consider moving all office based staff from ground to training ground. Use office space vacated for increased hospitality.

Then put roofing over back of ellersie, loft and school end , can push facilities a bit further out into covered concourse, also keep noise down and keep punters dry

I’m assuming both areas could be built up to the height of the houses so two or three stories. Develop that area into bars and toilets etc so more space for fans spread out and easier for club sell food and drink to fans before during and after game.

If we were able to build over the road, would it be better to knock LR down and start again? White hart lane style? I imagine the stands being so old and congested it would be easier to start again, either turning the pitch 90 degrees or shifting the pitch towards SAR, so that the stands can move with it, giving more space behind.
I guess the stand might be too steep for modern regs, so if it were knocked down, a new stand wouldnt be so vertical, meaning less seats (as we couldn't build higher)
