I'm not really sure why, tbh, but I'd be surprised if they reduced their stake. Unless of course they've finally decided to get out of dodge altogether. |

All the recent posts/threads about DOF/manager/money etc. go to show how important it was to not screw up the chance we’d given ourselves. If DOF wanted striker and owners wanted promo why didn’t they act? If MW playing without a striker was to prove his point that he didn’t need one he failed miserably.I would say all parties "failed miserably" is the conclusion of McIntyre's article, Alan. As Hubs says: No one at the club comes out of this looking good, it's a pretty damning indictment of the whole regime. Overall it gives the impression of a dysfunctional club with too many teflon-coated characters when it comes to their respective positions - and no one with the clarity of vision and authority to sort it out. |

Why do we not have a separate department at the club that re negotiate players contracts
Most of the team are leaving or on loan it’s crazy position to be in 12 players that could leave at any time
Surely some of these should be resigned already

It’s a joke the new Chelsea owners have just agreed to invest 1.5 billion in the team and the ground re=furbishment in addition to the 3 billion they paid for the club
We can’t even have a decent manager wot a load of bollocks we have become shambles .

On the other hand, the board had a golden opportunity of a windfall. Their decisions from January onwards condemned the club to another season of big monthly losses. I suspect Ruben is basically there to take the heat off Uncle. Tune (Tony) and TSG (Ruben) between them control the club's destiny. It would be interesting to find out who the TSG stakeholders are, but they are registered in Malaysia = paying money to find out. |

We are going nowhere fast and if our budget was the 16th in the division this season what will it be next when we have lost the players we have. I would love to know what the owners really want or are they being fed crap by the people overseeing the club on a day to day basis

It was Harry (bless) who pointed out how gullible they were, and how little football knowledge any of them actually had. Caterham were fucked for very similar reasons - zero inside knowledge. People forget that Bernie also had Uncle's pants down. I'd love to think that finally lessons have been learned. But the retention of people with a piss poor record like Ramsey and Les makes me seriously doubt that. |

I don't knock the owners for not wanting to throw even more money down the drain as they are losing very substantial sums - they are rich, but not Abramovich rich and their industries like airlines must have tanked during covid. All that said I fear for us next season - most likely an unproven manager being guided by an ineffective DoF with minimal budgets and probably lots of youth players, with the better players probably keen to move on to more successful clubs.

This is a crisis point for plenty of EFL clubs. In fact the Mittals are Abramovich rich. Unfortunately they seem content to sit on their 3% pretty much ad infinitum. |
