Be interesting to hear latest thoughts on Dyche, now that Burnley have achieved 10 points from the 4 games since his departure. Just goes to show what a difference the timing of a replacement can make, despite it seeming to be outrageous at the time. I’d have to hold my hands up to misjudging that one. Makes you wonder why the board didn’t do it in January, if indeed there were tensions. Because there's no room for sentiment in this business. Something which our touchy-feely board don't seem to get. |

Robinson has a better win % than Marbs at their current prospective clubs. Neither have as good as Paulo Fonseca's though. #TeamPaulo You need a board with real ambition to make that kind of appointment. Exactly the type of manager we should have approached months ago. It's a bit like Potter and Lage, flagged up on here pre Brighton, Wolves and Warburton. Do we even talk to anyone more than 200 miles away? Indeed. Or, as I say, are they even aware of them? |

I've not heard or seen anything to suggest that there is a change at boardroom level pending. This would be an awful summer for it to happen too. It's a short pre-season with the World Cup and we already have half a squad to find. Any changing of the guard at board level would be added complication that we don't need. As for Tony not being about. Stepped down as Chairman didn't he? deliberate ploy to take him out of the limelight. Let's face it, he was only ever the figurehead for a consortium anyway. It's pretty clear to me now that it was predominantly other peoples money being spent. |
