My point is the owners are content to keep losing £18m every season by the club standing still on bad managerial appointments, they need to get interested and research if MW is sacked. It's my point too. Over the last 10 years this is the sad and sorry list of our current owners' record on their manager/coach recruitment: Mark Hughes Harry Redknapp Chris Ramsey Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink Ian Holloway Steve McClaren Mark Warburton Face it, it's a fairly atrocious record. Where are most of those names now is the clue. Then ask yourself who's responsibility was it for these appointments, what were there for qualifications, where was the imagination, how much extensive research and due diligence was made in the decisions to hire these men? Look at the bigger picture. If we're serious about wanting to look at where the club has gone wrong over the past 10 years, then that's you're starting point.

Reckon he'd give that up in a heartbeat for a Managers job he fancied Ginge. Well if its about money he probably stay with the Ireland job

Well he said in the same article that his contract is up at the end of the season. Clearly the "renewal" was just a pay review and remained on the 1 year rolling arrangement that was in place. I reckon he’d know by now if he was getting renewed or wants to go. Whatever the outcome it’s probably done already. Possible players know as well hence the lack of form, effort etc

Too many variables to consider in that Jack Supple tweet to even consider putting all the managers into a league table.

Too many variables to consider in that Jack Supple tweet to even consider putting all the managers into a league table. There's a really simple formula: points per game. Although the parameters are variable, over a career top class managers seldom go below 1.4 no matter how shite the squad, and you should be looking to appoint someone with a career ppg of 1.7 or above. Our man needs to be available, realistic, worked abroad, and early 40s. Over the years plenty have fitted the bill for us who have gone on to much greater things. I duly flagged em up knowing we'd go for some antiquated old duffer or eccentric ex R. Most of them weren't Brits.

It be easy for club to Sponsor a foreign manager. They pay taxes, not a flight risk, on a determined contract.

My point was that some of those managers were given money to spend and others were not.

I think it’s time for the board to actually decide the direction they want to go. Are they happy being a feeder mid table ticking along side. Or have some bollox and go for it. Bournemouth have and a smaller club than us. Put the funds in and gambled to go back up. It’s no good our policy if we have ambition. Old players have no resale value and have been found wanting. If got the nuts let’s rebuild with a new exciting manager. Let’s pay some decent money on a exciting squad and have a go. If don’t work at least the players can be shifted with value. Show some bollox or just admit your here for other things than just the football.

If we go up again under the present owners I think they (and the fans) would be realistic next time and keep the manager. With hindsight it would have been better to keep Warnock even if we had dropped, then go again. I can’t see how they are ever going to get any money back otherwise. They’ll get fed up with losing money one day, then we’ll be in trouble. Norwich and Farke, Burnley and Dyche. Worked for them. Strongly believed that at the time Alan, without the benefit of hindsight. TF's first mistake after buying the club.

Instead we chose the unproven JFH.

A new shareholder on the Board doesn`t say or mean anything really, but could it be that someone is planning to buy us? Just a thought.

Rumours doing the rounds that there was a relationship breakdown between warburton and members in the boardroom. Could be when dof les told media that he suggested a striker but told media that warbs said we did not need one.
Dof les threw him under a bus.

I heard a story tonight which is worthy of note here. I’m going to be deliberately vague as I don’t want to drop anyone in it and you are going to have to trust me if I say the people came across as credible. All knew a bit of the story and they were just comparing what they knew. The story, I think we have to say allegedly😁 is that Warburton wants to go. He fell out with Les over the issue of a striker. Les wanted one and the owners are pretty pissed off that a golden opportunity of an unexpected promotion was allowed to slip. One of MW’s team apparently agreed with Les so he and MW haven’t spoken much since. Then Ainsworth was mentioned, but he is keeping his powder dry in the hope that a job at Blackburn comes up if he doesn’t get Wycombe up again. He comes from there. Could all be bollocks of course, but it didn’t sound that way and it does tick a few boxes of things that have been said on the board over the past few months. A bit of doubt for me is why would you let the tail wag the dog? Then again, you let your managers manage and it’s their neck. If this is true would explain what i posted a while back, disruption in the camp no matter how small causes massive problems among the squad. You don,t suddenly become a poor side overnight and i stand by my earlier statement that there was trouble in the camp, and the post by Alan,if true would suggest this. In my time in the dressing room area i have seen this kind of situation first hand and opinions, whispers etc become very apparent and just raise the temperature of the situation. Usually in these situations some one pays the price,in this case Mark Warburton.

I think he knew the writing was on the wall,as long ago as Mid Feb when things started to go wrong.
Board probably thought he would resign so no need to pay his contract up,he didnt and the board did not have the bollox to sack him.
In addition to this given our financial situation and in a world where money is the new God,sadly i feel this is somwehere near what happenned.

Always three sides to every story, maybe just maybe MW asked for a striker and Les said no quite the reverse of what Les stated. In other words Les got in first and the bus got Warbs.

The one thing to take out of this is that we looking at appointing manager number six under Les's watch. Surely that needs to be addressed and while he may have done good work elsewhere his recruiting of managers has not worked out.
