Very much doubt we are still in the running for Twine if 3m is the number required to get him.

Apparently we bid £1M and they told us to get knotted.

Random one. Seems to be from good pedigree though. Also interesting that Fabrizio Romano has taken to posting about what we're up to. He's a pretty respected source.

Would his 40 odd apperances at anything from from U15 to U20 for the Dutch international side get him a work permit ?
Strikes the ball very cleanly in his highlights reel, looks a better player than Cox imo.

He's been getting a bit of grief for it too if you read the comments Corbs.
Gotta either be down to Beale having friends in high places, or the fact there isn't much going on in the transfer market yet (or possibly a bit of both) I'd guess.

I know a number of my UK clients that only ever used to hire EU nationals have obtained the ability to sponsor overseas nationals and seem to have quite a bit of flexibility.

Probably need 2 left backs though, don't we? Makes sense we are being linked with 3 or 4 different targets.

Although Moses won’t be recovered from injury until around our opening games, I’m expecting him to sign a new contract to provide additional cover to that position.

Probably spreading the net wide to put a bit of pressure on anyone stalling plus keeps options open. Good to see and in a position we need pace and quality in.

Makes sense we are being linked with 3 or 4 different targets. i don't think niko is the answer as backup LB so you're probably right, but who knows? there's been countless players who've been deemed to not be good enough that ended up being quality. i think we're probably going to bring in paal instead of cox and then bring someone else in on loan. i'm not sold on moses as our starting RB but think he's a good player to have due to his ability on both flanks.

Interesting. Although I'd question how Dave Mac would know whether we're after 1 or 2? Club are hardly gonna leak that type of information. Our bargaining position is better if the market think we are only after 1.

Our bargaining position is better if the market think we are only after 1. Rightly or wrongly MB would probably like a close look at Niko before deciding if 2 are required, transfer window is open until 1st Sept so it could be said other positions may take priority ? Have Dave Mac/WLS been deliberately quiet since the club was rumoured to be annoyed that Sol Campbell was being considered, I’ve noticed they have been quoting other sources for their pieces ? For me Dave Mac and possibly Sean McGuire have generally been at the forefront of QPR transfer rumours in the past ?

Dave Mac is pretty good mate. All I will say is certain big things over the years have happened that haven't been on his radar. As such, I think it's fair to say he doesn't have visibility of everything. When he says something publicly, it generally turns out to be on the money though.
