Gotta bear in mind that full backs are easier and cheaper to pick up than strikers/goal scorers. I'm sure we are looking at strikers, but I'd be surprised if any genuine 1st team strikers are secured early in the window. |

My Greek mate reckons he's on big bucks and he's never really lived up to his potential. Attacking central midfielder, very skillful but has a habit of going missing in games was his feedback.

His wages are probably too high for us Tarbie, it was mentioned elsewhere he’s on £1m per year, but wouldn’t Austin have been on similar ?
Im impressed ‘if’ we have made enquiries about him as he looks ideal for someone that drives through the central m/f area carrying the ball.
I looked at his highlight reel at PAOK and he looked a very inspirational leader and was clearly captain on and off the pitch.

Sparks, my Greek mate said somewhere between 1m and 1.5m Euro. So you're probably bang on. 20k a week basically, probably on parity with our top earners.

If we want someone to do that - we do - then as I and others have put forward before we should see if we get Wycombe to sell us Anis Mehmeti. Londoner of Albanian descent, might have been binned by Arse if I remember, only young but has played with grown ups so fits our bill. |

Well you probably got a ton of blokes in North London that claim to be Greek but support Arsenal, and the closest they've been to Greece is having a glass of Ouzo at a wedding once. My mate is actually Greek, supports AEK, follows the national team and splits half his time between London and Athens. |
