He's been touted to join us for 7 years now, and has been out of work since he relegated Swindon to league 2 five years ago! les will argue that he's unbeaten in 5 years

Never managed Swindon though, did he? DoF role for a year or so, although I seem to remember him being very hands on, popping up in the dugout or whatever. All very odd.
Don't even think our board would be daft enough to look at Sherwood now. He was a dubious choice 5 years or so back. He'd be a god awful one now!

Sherwood: no gilet required. Cotterill: not good enough. Farke: no farking way he'd come to us. Bielsa: ditto. Hughton: a more realistic shout, although he's used to working with much bigger budgets that ours.
Whoever we appoint, if/when Warburton leaves, needs to be an improvement, both in terms of tactics and inspiration. That's why a younger, aspiring manager might fit the bill. We've done dinosaurs aplenty over the years. Time for something different.

I would be interested in that Bodö/Glimt manager. He's doing similar job in Norway as Graham Potter did in Sweden. Might be unrealistic though as undoubtedly Premier League clubs will be after him.

He would be the perfect manager for us I believe, but I expect him to end up in Holland with Ajax as a potential destination from what I`ve heard. Make no mistake about it, I would love us to get him - and I think he would easily buy into our project.

Looks like a potential replacement has become available.
Will we be brave, go for it and back him?

Dyche has just been sacked. Honestly think we should make an enquiry.

He knows how to get teams promoted on a limited budget. Wouldn't care how dull the football is - worry about that later as it's a results driven business, particularly for a club of our size.

Pretty black and white thinking that dull football means success when best managers in the world play attractive football.

I was gonna post the same Leighsey. The centre halves alone in their squad cost about 5 times as much as our whole squad put together. And I actually don't even think that's and exaggeration.

His relationship with Hoos may be an issue. Thought I’d read some years ago that they didn’t see eye to eye.

When a club facing relegation dumps the manager this late it usually means they’ve accepted inevitable (bit early for Burnley maybe?) and they are shedding costs for next year. MW to Burnley anyone?

Doubt that. The bottom of the Premier League is poor this year. Bet they get Big Sam in and give him a contract til the end of the season with a huge bonus written in if he keeps them up!

Dyche's voice sounds like he's gargling Liquid Gold amyl nirate but i'd have him at QPR in a heartbeat.
Unfortunatley , there's more chance of me wearing siouxsie sioux's fishnets down my local battle cruiser than Dyche coming to Loftus Road.
