Cracking point about brentford fans calling for Frank out last season. They said he had taken them as far as he could and only got job as he was already in the house.
Bet few of them are happy they were wrong

As for promotion and premier league football, I can’t believe so many fans are wetting their pants about not making it to the premier league this season so we can get humiliated the majority of weeks. For what, money? Well yes actually, for reasons given numerous times by numerous people on here - because being a mid table championship side is not long term sustainable. It should be, but it isn't. There's also the argument that you need to play the best and experience that to improve. Hate to say it but Fulham learned. Think about this for a minute: Fulham and fucking Brentford in the prem while we potter about getting turned over by the likes of Posh. How can that work for anyone who claims to support us? If we don’t go up within the next couple of years it’s not the end of the world. The premier league isn’t bringing in restricted access is it, or have I missed something. As for Brentford and Fulham, they haven’t become established premier league clubs, at least not the last time I looked. They could just as easily be lower championship in a few years, who knows, so using them as a success story might be jumping the gun a bit. At the moment they are in a better position than us, so what, things change. We’ve been in a better position than them for long periods of time. If your worried about bragging rights at a particular time in history then yes, they have them at the moment., but only in terms of where they are in the league. They’ll always be a bus stop in Hounslow and a bunch of cravat wearing glory hunters, though, so it doesn’t get to me the way it appears to be getting to you. That’s because I don’t see being in the premier league right this minute, or next season for that matter, as the be all and end all. If it was I’d obviously find it harder to bear. And yes, I am a fan but can honestly say that some of the most memorable moments as a fan have been when we’ve been up against it. Playing in league two with Ollie at the helm a prime example. And before anyone says it, no I’m not fucking Pinkie. For every Brentford, assuming they sustain their position, there’s a Sunderland. I don’t want us to wallow mid table in the championship indefinitely. Like I said, the by product of winning most of your games is promotion and I take more pleasure in us winning than not. But I’m not soiling my nappy over the fact that a dream which was probably unrealistic, didn’t materialise. And taking the stance with a manager who’s done a fair few things right, that because he isn’t doing it quickly enough for some peoples liking, we should chuck him in the bin and buy a new one We are ticking along quite nicely., making progress. Warbs will have learnt a lot and I’m fairly sure we won’t be relying on Dykes and Austin next season, the board will see to that. Did we miss the boat this season, possibly but not definitely, nobody knows. If we give the manager a bit more time it may well work out. If it doesn’t then so be it, we move on with another one. What’s certain if we get rid now is, we’ll never know whether he could have dove the business and there’s just as much chance a new manager will fail to meet the expectations of some of our fans.

Christ, itsonlyagame has done a essay for a reply This it what happens when I cut away from work at midday and get started on the Amstel. The mrs will no doubt have the spare bed ready for me when I get home but on a beautiful day like today, it’s nearly always worth it.

We would be top six if it was not for Dykes and Austin crap contribution this year
Fucking shameful contribution from both players
Also Johansson complete letdown
Positives for me are Mc Callum Moses Marshall Dunne Willock Field
Dogs are Dykes Austin Johanson our 3 supposedly best players wit a joke

Chair, Dickie, Albert and Barbet have had really great periods and then been pretty poor. Diene was getting back to his last season form before he got injured.

The obvious dangers of keeping MW on are, it’s highly likely that the likes of Willock, Dickie and Dieng could be sold if the right offers come in. Not bothered at all about that one. More hype than substance.

First name I thought of too 🤦🏻♂️ Exactly why I was of the opinion we should be careful what we wish for when the Warbs out stuff started (justifiably). Would love Farke or Dyche but we will end up with Hughton. I'd put money on it. I would include Chris Hughton on the shortlist personally. I know others don't but I agree with Sparks here: If the board are not going to appoint a young bright manager with probably no experience of managing a club in the Championship then I would look at Chris Hughton to see if he’s interested. The Forest job is the only really failure on his CV. Hughton not Houghton also had one season at brum where he got them in the playoffs. After leaving Forest it’s well known that Hughton said he had no say in transfers in or out. As for being a Dinosaur thoughts like that would have ruled out Warnock wouldn’t they ?

Hughton Possibly not my number one target but surely he would be worthy of an interview even if it’s just to benchmark against others

Or Outsider Ranieri

Farke would be brilliant but pretty sure he is in a job.
Dyche wouldn't come here, we aren't a big pull. He's been ranked highly in the Premiership so there are zero doubts he will either get another Premier League team or a play off hunting team.

Personally I hope they now will sound out Bodø Glimt`s manager Kjetil Knudsen. He may want to leave Norway and seek pastures new and I strongly believe he would be the perfect fit for us.. Martin Ødegård`s father Hans Erik Ødegård is another one I would like us to contact. He`s worked wonders with Sandefjord on a shoustring budget in Norway. His assistant Andreas Tegstrøm is a former striker and couch who could improve the strikers. Hans Erik Ødegård worked in the Academy of Real Madrid when Martin was playing in Spain so should have ideas on how to improve young players also.

Is Ian Evatt worth considering, doing quite well with Bolton Wanderers.
Not afraid to back himself as reportedly said recently he will have them in the Prem within 3 years !!
He could bring Afolayon with him.

Ex-QPR too for our younger audience. Not that that should be a factor!

Said it before: no way the likes of Farke or Dyche will come to us, I've no idea why anyone thinks that's remotely possible. We're probably too low budget for Hughton, too.

Farke would probably consider QPR as a step back in his career... However, No doubt, it would be a scoop if we could get him.

Now you mention it its got Hughton written all over this appointment
Ex Spurs collegues in Les and Chris Ramsey
Forgone conclusion possibly.
Heard from Forest fans though the football is so defensive so may not suit the fans going forward
